My experience was same. Friends raved about Shri Lanka. Wasn't interested in going because I thought how could it be better than India. Went and had the best time there. Was totally impressed by the country and it's people. Especially Colombo which is more like Singapore than a SAARC city.

After watching hundreds of Sri Lanka travel videos by hundreds of creators, I have got to say your video is one of the very best, maybe even the best. Excellent camera work, excellent editing, music that matches the images, and such a concise yet descriptive and personal narration of your trip with lots of helpful information. Was very suprised to see that the people in the background of this excellent video seem to be almost all from Western countries. India sends the most tourists to Sri Lanka, about 40,000 a month. Where were all the Indian tourists at these beautiful places you visited? Are we too busy on the Ramayana Trail and not interested in the world famous attractions?

Thanks for the video. Can you please also list the charges you paid for the hotels alongwith type of room you stayed in? Was the room rent on full board or half board basis? Do u recommend to visit Dambulla Rock, Elephant safari in sigria and I am panning to stay 3 N 2 D in sigria. Also I am a bangali so are there Indian food availabe in hotels please let me know

I’m afraid I won’t be able to tell you much about the dambulla rock and elephant safari as I did not visit the place. Indian restaurants are not easy to find. But Sri Lankan food is close to indian cuisine.

Can we go for day trip from colombo to Bentota and from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya..? Can we book local train on sri lankan railway portal from India before travelling to Sri Lanka..?

If you going to colombo to benthota it is around 2-3 hr trip. If you hope some activities in Benthota, you must stay minimum one day in Benthota. Similarly, you can go Kandy to Nuwaraeliya within 2hr. Finally, yes you can book your train journey by online.

Hi…I think it’s rainy season towards the end of June…you’ll need to be prepared for rain. And yes there are quite a few veg restaurants in Sri Lanka.

Not that far from colombo. There is a highway directly from Airport to colombo downtown which will take maximum 30min.

You told to carry passport. Without passport how can we enter srilanka(on arrival visa), can't even board flight(immigration).😂😂

What I meant is, while you are in Sri Lanka and you want to visit these places in Sri Lanka, make sure to carry your passport.😒
