@@Liltenhead yeah, like you forgot to mention you could put a beaker of napalm and one bottle of Cl and F each, shoot the napalm first, still onehit a nukie but also put max fire stacks on them making them basically unrecoverable by the agent.
Would be nice if they put so much effort in surgery or work on that damn vendor which is in the game since day one and never worked, or in a chef/chemist/libary rework as they do for nerfs xD
lot easier to nerf values or tweak them than code entire gameplay mechanics. SS14 does have a shit ton of circling balance though, which gets pretty tiring keeping up with it.
while i disagree with some changes sometimes, its much better to just 'try it and see how it works' than spend all day theory crafting on what should and shouldn't be
I’m the one who made this change to the cannon, my dumbass is not smart enough to work on surgery, this was hardly effort, like 45 minutes and 13 lines of code changed
Poorman’s double barrel, I for one am proud to have fucked with the meta, am I gonna have to make it a 1x2 inventory lmao. I wanted to limit it to one item but also didn’t wanna not be 2x2 for stun-baton shenanigans.(the only two items blacklisted prior were arrows and throwing knives) If I were to modify it again I’d probably make it a 4x4 item as potato cannons are pretty damn huge and maybe give it some moderate spread
In my opinion, I feel if the pneumatic cannon could only shoot at a rate of .5, and couldn't fit into inventories it would become a lot less desirable and make any reloading strategies with it require much more effort. But it would still be a weapon with its own strengths and potential.
@@Liltenhead I can get down with that, I’ll probably tweak it again. I tried pumping the RoF so high it shoots everything on a single click but that spammed the console hard, tried burst mode but it didn’t work with the cannon’s inventory ammo system. Maybe for size I can give it the RD hardsuit treatment and make it 5x5 thus requiring a dufflebag to conceal
@@superjj1850 If you could figure out how to make it only shoot while wielded, that'd be a good nerf too, probably wouldn't have to change the size if it required wielding.
The only thing I miss is my Licoxide mix I feel they removed that because a unspecified Secoff spend half the shift grinding a stack of steel just to dump a jug full of Licoxide smoke during EoRG

Since like 35 of the clorine is lost to the reaction could you mix 15u Clorine and 35u Napalm in the first beaker so not only does it explode but it ignites?
there is one container that could fit over 300 u of reagents while only occupying 1x1 space... but it is so nasty i rather not say unless im nicely asked.
