I think extending the Korando will make it look a bit wagon-ish... Just my personal view... But the design really is Handsome... Very neat and clean...
How can this can be next generation xuv500? According to most media houses, mahindra and ford were developing new platform, and some sources says that upcoming ford suv will be made on next gen xuv500 platform. Korando is made on x100 platform of tivoli which also underpins mahindra xuv300. Xuv300 and xuv500 won't share same platform, and ford indirectly won't use a ssangyong platform. Media houses says that next gen xuv500 will be designed by pininfarina and its power output will be more than 180bhp, korando sits in the one lower segment. How can this be the xuv500 replacement?! I think mahindra might launch it as an another rebadged car to rival cars like creta and kicks, this surely looks better.
Actually the video isn't clickbait it's correct because Xuv 500 is discontinued and upcoming XUV 500 ( technically XUV700 ) is comming with new name and upcoming XUV 500 will be a 5 seater suv.......so Tivoli = XUV 300 Corando = XUV 500 All new XUV 700 and Most recent Patent of mahindra XUV 900 (which will be Ssangyong Rexton ) ,I wish it clear all your confusion
And if you see, XLV is almost 24 cm longer than the Tivoli. If Mahindra makes this car that much long. We can get fortuner's road presence under 15 lakhs.
XuV 500 cheetah modal is a mega hit in india... And there is huge number of fan following and consumer of XUV 500...if mahindra want to use this platform of rexton 7 seater... So mahindra simply can use that platform but in cheeta modal.....
I don't think people will accept it as xuv500...it is a very premium suv it can be bought competition to Tata harrier n jeep compass... Mahindra shouldn't consider this even by stretching at the back as 7 seater...xuv n korrando r totally different in terms of design...xuv looks better n rugged
@@hkp007 also the front grill was more macho in the first generation xuv500 and the alloys were amazing as well New gen xuv looks nice and sleeky but not macho enough like it used to be
It should be in India but not as XUV-500 . We all love the space in XUV-500. I think this car cannot have the space when compared with XUV-500. SO,bottom line is, This shouldn’t be XUV-500 but we will be fine with some other Badge. Common Mahindra, Change the current XUV suv to coupe style. But please don’t change current interior space and styles. A sincere request from young generation XUV fans🙂🙂
5 seater is good....7seater is a dumbass concept in India....if you want a 7 seater then there should be true 7 seaters like Ford Explorer not some fake 7seaters sold in Indian market....
