In this video I will show you how to configure your computer to drive, equalize, and route audio to the radio and from the radio
• Project goals:
○ Use any standard computer headset or microphone with your radio
○ Listen to the radio on the computer speakers
○ Use the radio hands-free and PTT via CAT, D.Vox, or external foot switch
○ Playback pre-recorded CQ calls, great for contests
○ Record and playback sound from the radio, great for RU-vid videos like this one
○ Most important of all you can do this with any radio
Will demonstrate first with a Baofeng UV-5R VHF/UHF radio and a simple UBS audio adapter
FT-991A demonstration is at then end of the video. You can also check my other videos.
