Welcome to a brand-new aircraft tutorial, this time covering the SSG E-Jets Evolution (E-170 and E-195) in greatest detail possible. During a realistic Air Dolomiti flight from Pisa to Frankfurt we're going to cover all the procedures and systems operation that you need to successfully fly this bird, including the complete startup from cold'n'dark, the FMC setup, loading the aircraft, using the provided Quick Reference Handbook for speeds and trims, the complete MCP and autopilot operation and how to perform an ILS approach. Excellent Tutorial! it cleared up a lot of problems I was having with the SSG E-Jets. Can you do a video on how to import a flightplan into the SSG FMC. I and, it appears, a lot of others are having the issues trying to import plans, either from Simbrief (UFMC) or FMS formats

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial :) Yeah regarding the coroute it seems to be a bit more complicated... I'm using the simBrief downloader tool to put the correct UFMC flightplan format into the "Custom Data/UFMC/Flightplans" folder and that seems to be working. Maybe give it a try too :)

@Terra Australis Additionally, other than in the standard FMS, UFMC flight plans created by Simbrief will not have the 01 in the filename. So for a flight from Amsterdam to Hamburg, you‘d simply put EHAMEDDH in the scratchpad and then press the coroute button.

Thanks a lot Andrea! Yeah it's a bit special with the co-routes in the SSG E-Jets, as the plane uses the UFMC navdatabase. You need the UFMC fpl-format from simBrief and then put it in the "Custom Data/UFMC/Flightplans" folder (if I recall correctly). Cheers

The physics of the aircraft I think it has to be revised , from the previous version, overspeed , such as going off course and not following the VNAV altitude profile. I updated to 1.65 and I still have the same errors. Does this aircraft give some these bugs for you?

Hi, I bought the early version of MFSS FSS E-Jet 175 and was using your tutorial to learn more about the aircraft. Excelent tutorial! Congrats! In this video (minute 24) found something that works great here but on FSS E-Jet was not working as I expected... It is about Stepping the flight plan on MFD Map (plan) like your are doing here. On FSS Discord I showed this part your video and told them that this LSK Step was missing for stepping flight plan. They answed that the real E-175 does not work this way and this LSK Step, does not existe in real life..... Are they correct about it?

First of all, thanks a lot for watching :) Regarding the FPL STEP key, I'm not sure if it works that way irl. Just like the FSS E-Jet, also the SSG version isn't 100% accurate and simplifies many things. But what I heard so far, the FSS FMS isn't necessarily very good, just like the missing VNAV...

I have noticed you were flying so smoothly using xenviro. How did you get there? I have a good system but I can’t fly smoothly using xenviro. My pc specs are i7 10700k rtx 2080ti 32Gb ram.

The settings that did improve the FPS for me were the Anti-Aliasing in X-Plane set to 2x SSAA+FXAA, as well as all the cloud settings in xEnviro set to Medium.

I guess you own the E-170, because that version has a different cabin color. I'm using no mod for that.

You forgot to open passenger door at the before departure and after arrival. It's a pity :(

Somehow it refused to open at the departure, I guess it interfered with Ground Handling Deluxe.

Have u updated SSG E195 to version 1.6.2?? In the latest update they have broken the flch mode...now descending in flch mode wil lead to holding speed by adding thrust and airplane won't descend...!

Yes indeed this is v1.6.2, but luckily for the tutorial we didn't have to use FLCH descend, but it worked fine via VNAV. Another update for the SSGs is definitely needed. Cheers mate!

I can highly recommend the simBrief flightplanner, it will provide a fitting cruise altitude for ya ;)

Well the SSGs aren't *that* advanced and still quite easy on the FPS. If your system can handle the 767, then I think those aren't a problem neither. Thanks for watching :)

@@imcoolgovind By the way, even with the 2070S I have to reduce the Anti-Aliasing to 2xSSAA+FXAA. At 4x I also get super low FPS, in OpenGL as well as in Vulkan. Cheers

@@SimulationChannelDeluxe xenviro is super unoptimizzed...cloud add ons in xplane...generally kills fps....I had so much better immersion cloud wise in fsx
