Waylen has to be the best mentor I've met. He's copy-trading has been the best because I hop on it with $3000 and I'm up with $35,000 in profit. He's insights, information and versatility in the market is super ,

I was born with Spina Bifida in 1955. I first heard about SSI in the late 1970's (I don't remember exactly what year.) I got on SSI and Medicaid. I was told I could not earn any money other than my SSI. I had never had a paying job. When my father turn 65 he got on SS and my SSI was changed to SSDI. I was told then that I could make up to $9000.00 per year. When I turned 50 I got on Medicare. I am now 68 (69 in November). As of January 2024 I make $1408.00. This is different from what I was understanding you were saying unless I misunderstood you.

Hello, as of 2024, if you're receiving SSDI, you can earn up to $1,550 per month and still be eligible for benefits. This is known as the Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) limit. However, this amount is subject to change each year based on the national average wage index. For SSI, the income limits are different and can be affected by various factors, including the state you live in and whether you have any other income. It's also important to note that the rules for working while receiving disability benefits are different for SSDI and SSI. For SSDI, there's a trial work period during which you can make more than the SGA amount without losing your benefits. For SSI, the amount of your benefits may be reduced based on how much you earn. For more detailed information, you can watch this video: www.thedisabilitydigest.com/how-much-i-can-make. It provides a comprehensive overview of the income limits for disability benefits. - Benny Fit

I'm having a hard time with this one you stated the last 10 years they look at the lawyer told me it was the last five for SSDI I'm confused so it makes a difference as to whether I get approved or not otherwise question for you if you have two onset dates will that make a difference? My lawyer found out I have two onset dates so fingers crossed I get approved for SSDI she's supposed to call today

I understand how confusing and stressful this process can be, especially with differing information about the look-back period and onset dates. Generally, for SSDI, the critical period is typically the last five years of work history, as this affects your insured status based on your recent work credits. Having two onset dates could influence your claim depending on how they align with your work history and medical evidence. It’s good that your lawyer is on top of this, and fingers crossed for positive news from her call today! Hang in there, and feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need further clarification.

I'm from Eugene Oregon and I am trying to get my back pay for ssdi. I have received a letter saying that they owed me 29,000 for back pay. A week before I had one from ssi said that I was owed 18,075. Then ssdi sent me the letter saying I was owed 29,000 and they paid my lawyer 7000 out 22000 is left. Now I haven't received it yet . I tried calling but get no where. He told me that ssi had been given it. Is that true and I have never signed up for ssi and whoever did made lot of mistakes

I understand your situation. It's crucial to contact your local Social Security office or your attorney for clarification on your back pay. If you're having trouble reaching them by phone, try their online portal or mail. Keep all documents from the SSA.
