An attempt to make a clean rip of the Mark Menza track that plays near the end of Dragon Ball Z Movie 9: Bojack Unbound. It is heard during SSJ2 Gohan's defeat of the Bojack Gang.

Okay so again it has been a while since I've uploaded, sorry guys 😝. In all seriousness though, I've been tied down with a lot of work relating to my college over the last month since it is my final year and I gotta concentrate, though thankfully I'll be done with that at the end of the month. There's been multiple times where I simply haven't been able to work on anything relating to ripping, and when I have It was often work for other people so not necessarily for this channel. However I was able to complete this video here for you guys. Now with all that said and done, let me go into more detail on it. I did say before that I wanted to do another Menza track since the last one I did was all the way back in January. I was determined to keep that promise. However what makes this different is that rather than trying another GT one I decided to attempt a track from the DBZ movies, which would actually be my first time doing so. I'll still be doing more GT rips in the future though so don't worry about that if it's a concern for you, I'm just experimenting with new things. The truth is this is probably my personal favourite Menza track, I've desperately wanted to see it ripped cleanly for a long time. The best version I could ever find was ripped by Coycoy88 years ago, and sadly it featured a lot of vocals and sfx mixed in with the track. However, I was motivated to try to rip it myself after I came across an even better attempt uploaded by Mr. Yosha/Woodlandbuckle a few months ago: • Video His version was by far the cleanest that I had ever heard, and it serves as the basis for my attempt. A huge thank you goes out to him as without his version this would not be possible.
Now one thing notable about his rip is that it still features a lot of sfx in the background as well as a few instances of the Japanese score playing. I assume that he played around with inverting both the Japanese and English 5.1 audio scores in his attempt which is what lead to Kikuchi's music being present. My goal was to try and remove all of this excess background noise and music to try and create a version that was as clean as possible. I can confidently say that I have achieved this to a satisfactory level. There are still a couple of areas that have sfx though. For some reason ISSE was not able to recognize the difference between the music and background noise in these places no matter what I did. The sfx was just too well embedded into the track to do anything about it. In particular, 1:19-1:28 and 3:48-3:56 were parts that were impossible to rip cleanly as the amount of music lost trying to take out the noise would be far too great, so I decided to leave most of it in to preserve the track. I was able to remove Bojack's and Gohan's vocals at 3:48-3:56 though. There were some other complicated tricks that I did to remove the SSJ sound effects and the Japanese music but I'd be here all day describing them so I'll just leave you with the knowledge that this rip was an excruciatingly difficult experience😅. I think in the future I'll definitely have to do some smaller rips because these longer ones are honestly agonizing to do at times, especially when you get stuck on parts that won't rip cleanly such as the ones that I just mentioned. So much times was spent on trying to rip 1:19-1:28 that I almost died inside, I was so pissed off at it that I nearly gave up. Anyways this is the end of yet another one of my dumb rants (it's almost comical at this point), hope you all enjoy what is probably the cleanest ever rip of this track! Can't say when my next upload will be just hope that it's soon.
