I love SSX3 but I prefer the track designs in SSX and Tricky. 3 has a lot of white and "dark white" but the first two games had more colors in the tracks making them more interesting and memorable.

Yup, release titles like this were programmed by devs who mainly had PS1 experience and a spec sheet. They're still learning and discovering the new system's capabilites, and the dev tools are still being developed themselves.

I just got a ps2 with this game on it (never played it before) and I swear to god these videos make me feel like I'm playing a completely different game. Like I can just barely do a single backflip while all of these guys are recreating geddan memes from every single ramp.

This use to be one of my favorite games I wish they had it on PlayStation 5

looking at this as an adult now, you can see how ahead of time this game was in terms of gameplay mechanics and environments. I knew this game came out in the early 2000s but I had no idea it was a ps2 launch game. there have been games many years later with far better graphics that would struggle to get this type of smooth gameplay.

I Really Love SSX ( Original) SSX (Tricky) SSX3 Bescause They Are Fun Games To Play With I Love The Stages,Characters,Music As Well.

It's weird to think this was on the same console as Final Fantasy XII, the graphics sure did mature over the course of that console's life (don't get me wrong, I love SSX, that's why I'm here!)

It's so weird to see big tricks landed in the original SSX without the familiar "TRICKYYY, HUH!"

I played Tricky a lot and just picked up the first SSX. While some races have had very little changes between the 2, I simply cannot recognise Snowdream

@shmookpup I think they're both good! I definitely spent more time with this one, but I agree Tricky is more fun to play.

@GT3x24x7 ya they're both definitly good, and for a first game for the ssx series they really did good with ssx, but i think ssx tricky is funner, but don't get me wrong, ssx is great!
