I was probably there! Apart from the fact that a good few of the cars will have gone to the car park in the sky, lots of the buses are STILL around on running days. I can only see one RM; probably, it was felt the weren't old enough! One or two of the buses pictured are now a different colour, green now red and vice versa.
This was 2 years before my parents moved here and 4 years before I was born. So so interesting to watch. Gosh this city has changed so much (and yet, so much of it has stayed the same). Shame it’s so filled with traffic these days. Unfortunately it’s really not very quiet these days. But I love my hometown nonetheless. I also didn’t know that the buses went to London, let alone France!
I never manage to recognise any people or myself in these old St.Albans films when I watch them, mind you I've always lived in Exeter. The little kids would be in their early thirtys and the old people probably dead now. Makes you think. Merry Christmas.
@@Healthygreenkeeper .... remember the bloke with the stockings on legs clipped to the canopy... little stall with socks... knickers and gloves etc... always remember the fluorescent suspenders on legs....
