Takes me back.

I ran the car rental office in Marlboro’ Motors, the Vauxhall Dealers in London Road, opposite Godfrey Davis Ford from August 84 to late 86. St Albans was a great town, Harry Smiths, The Adelaide, Batchworth Hall….ahh the memories!

Some brilliant cars there. Rover P6, Ford Cortinas etc

So many 70's cars in the late 1980's. Ford Cortina, Princess, VW Golf MK1, Opel Kadett C Estate, Datsun, Triumph Toledo, Mini, Austin Maxi, Escort MK1. Volvo, Triumph GT6. Fantastic!

4:47 i have a Ford cortina just like that in Cardinal Red. Mine is a 1.6 GL.

An L reg Morris Marina estate still being used as a taxi in c1985, behind is a nearly new A reg Citroen BX. Vanden Plas 1500 with its distinct radiator technically not an Austin Allegro. Vauxhall Magnum with twin headlamps (high spec Viva), orange Datsun 180B. Two Volvo 245 estates pass each other.

Leyland National on Green Line routes, which makes it pre 1986, when the NBC double arrow logo was ditched

No chavs, no tracksuits, no gang members coming up from London. What a great time that was.

B reg was 84. Didnt see a C reg so after august 1984 and probably before August 1985
