St. Anthony: Amazing Miracles! - Explaining the Faith with Fr. Chris Alar 

I recently lost my Birth Certificate. I needed it badly for legal reasons. For hours I looked in every book, box, couch, shelf, dresser, closet, storage, buffet, drawer, ........Finally I remembered to say a Prayer to St. Anthony. "Saint Anthony, please help me find my Birth Certificate. I need it badly." Right after that Prayer, I looked in a top secret drawer of a dresser. Nothing. So I shut the drawer really hard in my frustration. As it shut, I heard the drop of an object. I opened the drawer beneath the secret drawer, and I found that a large birthday card had fallen into it. I opened the card. There was my folded Birth Certificate! ❤St. Anthony, pray for us and protect us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!❤

I was not yet born when the first St. Anthony miracle happened in my family. I remember my father telling me the story 15 years after the incident and it still brought tears to his eyes. When it happened, my family was in Italy but my father was working in Budapest. My 2 year old brother (at that time) got very sick with intestinal worms. The worms had totally invaded his little body to the point of no control. (the explanation of his condition is extremely unpleasant for me to explain) The doctor came to the house and after he saw my brother, he told my mother to contact Dad because the child wouldn't have lasted another day. My father could only have a 2 day pass from his job. The train ride would have taken the majority of his time but he felt the need to see his son. A few hours after he got home he had to turn around and get back to the train station to go back to Budapest. He was devastated, knowing that his son was dying and he couldn't be on his side. On his way to the train station in Padova, he decided to stop at St. Anthony's church and pray for a miracle for his son. He was so intent in his prayers that time passed by. When he came to the realization that he needed to go, the train for Budapest had long departed and he had no choice but to go back home. I remember him saying that on the way home, he couldn't stand the pain of finding his son dead and he kept praying to St. Anthony all the way home. Once he arrived home he ran into my brother's room to be by his side and found my brother sitting up in bed eating breakfast. The doctor was called and he couldn't believe the outcome. He had no explanation for what had happened. Weeks later, my parents returned to St. Anthony's church and explained to the Franciscan Friars what had happened. The Church proclaimed it a miracle and my brother had to wear a little Franciscan tunic for a full year. St. Anthony is my patron and I can say with certainty that he does perform miracles with the help of Baby Jesus, in Father's name. Thank you Fr. Chris, for bringing my patron to light! 🙏

Oh man, that’s an awful sign when a mule recognizes our Lord being the Eucharist than most Christians currently do. Pray for us, Saint Anthony.

I can testify to the strength of this Saint. I did a one week devotion to ST Anthony to intercede for the company I work with and a few days later we went from bankruptcy to being rescued by an investor. The way it came about was nothing less than miraculous.

I'm losing my children and grandchildren. They are not going to church anymore. St. Anthony pls intercede for my children and grandchildren to hear mass every Sunday.

I am in my 40’s and was confirmed when I was in 7th grade. I couldn’t decide on a saint to choose for my saint. A teacher told me to look for my bday in a book of saints and see who it was. It was St Colette. I thought that was a beautiful name so I chose it. I never thought much about it, fast forward through my life I grew up and became a Pediatric RN. I have been in this exact field for almost 22years now, many times finding myself praying for the children I care for & witnessing countless miracles. One day I decided to look up my saint, Colette, and was shocked to see she is the patron saint of sick children. One might say I picked her, but I know deep down, God picked her for me! I won’t put her story here, it’s too long, but let me just say, I know without a doubt she continues to intercede through me, in my work. There is no way this was all coincidence! When I was a child, I had no idea I wanted to be a nurse someday, let alone a pediatric one-But God knew. March 6, my bday, St Colette’s feast day. The saints are truly alive.🙏

I always remember my mother-in-law, saying “Tony, Tony, look around. Something’s lost and can’t be found”. Now I know there is much more to St Anthony then just finding lost car keys.

Prayers please for a troubled family in NSW, Australia. 14 year old son Brock (6 ft tall) has gone astray due to lack of discipline and violent video games from a young age. Mixing with the wrong crowd, violent to his parents and threatening to kill, known to police for various crimes including domestic violence and car theft. Only God can help now. The family need a miracle 🙏

My father had bladder cancer. Doctors told us that the immune therapy meds were on back order. I told my dad we need to pray to St Anthony for him to find this medicine and get it sent here. My dad never prayed this way to St Anthony unless it was a lost item. Well we prayed. With 6 weeks, the medicine reached the office. Doctor was shocked. 2 months later the doctor brought this up again and asked how did we get this medicine here. It was another confirmation that St Anthony performed a miracle. 🙏🏻

I prayed to Saint Anthony to help me find my lost cell phone, and then... I found a lost cell phone, on the top part of my purse. The thing is, I dumped my purse out twice, looking for the cell phone, which had been lost for about three weeks (I am not a habitual cell phone user), but my purse was on the table, and when I opened it, the cell phone was right on top. I asked everyone in our household who found it an put it there, and my husband and son were dumbfounded, no one had seen it. I KNOW it was Saint Anthony, and although I am grateful for his help in finding things, I am more grateful for the hope he helps us find for growing closer to Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph, to God Our Father and to the Holy Spirit, and to our Holy Angels, especially to Our Guardian Angel. St. Anthony, pray for us, help us to always be obedient to the Divine Will, and help us all get to Heaven. Amen.

Saint Anthony has become a great helper to me. Example, due to health issues, my husband often needs to have an I.V. or get his blood drawn. But he's a "hard stick," and it could sometimes take an hour to get a needle in. I've started praying to St. Anthony at these times and - voila! - instant success! A similar thing happened with my best friend's mom, who has Alzheimers. The poor woman suffered for 45 min as nurses tried to get an I.V. into her, when my friend texted me and asked me to pray. I asked for St. Anthony's intercession. Later, my friend informed me that they got the needle into her mother's arm immediately after asking me to pray. God is so good!

My grandmother who passed away a long time ago when i was young has a relic of St. ANTHONY and was praying for him all the time. In that small town in the Philippines, she was sought to pray for the Saint for lost caravans, lost husband even and by the grace of God, most of the times they were found This is according to my mother, we still have the old old relic of St. ANTHONY.

Great Topic Father Alar. I am one of the recipient of one of the miracles through St. Anthony's intercession. I lost partial vision of my right eye when I had a slight heart attack many years ago. I can't see my whole plate when I am eating and I bumped things because my vision is not correct. I used to touch the table first before I put glass or breakables or else it will fall on the floor. Then I had a dream. A good bishop told me in my dream that he offered my lost of vision to God througj St. Anthony. I went back to my devotion to St. Anthony and gradually I have my vision back. It's not perfect but I can see things better. Thank you very much. You are gifted. Your preaching is awesome.

My mom was born on St Anthony's feast day at St Anthony's Hospital in P. Oregon 91 years ago. She was always drawn to this powerful saint. Mom was not catholic until after she married our dad and had me. We were all 3 baptized into the Catholic church when I was a year old. The prayer that all 5 of my siblings learned very early, along with the Angel of God prayer, was "Dear St Anthony please come 'round something's been lost and can't be found." There have been many lost and found stories over the decades; passports, money, purses, dogs, rosaries, etc. too many to count. Mom is still giving her friend St. Anthony thanks and God the glory. We loved this talk and pray for you and all MIC everywhere.

Interesting on days we were born and feast days of saints . so I was born Oct 13th 1967. 50 years after Fatima .. When I learned of these events I found this to be amazing.. Saint Anthony I love him. When my husband had cancer I made a special prayer to St. Anthony & every chemo treatment I anointed my husband with holy oil and we would say that prayer. He never lost any hair or was never sick. He was healthy and completely free of cancer. He did not need radiation either. I have had many miracles of healing through Saint Anthony. Thank you Saint Anthony for your prayers. I love you.

I love this… thank you father Chris, for another great talk. I once prayed the novena to Saint Anthony when I lost a very special confirmation gift… It was a bracelet with Saint Faustina on it. The bracelet never showed up. However, when I found another one online and ordered it… Not one, but three came in the mail! When I called the company regarding this, they told me to keep them all… So I was blessed times three :-)
