Looks like a very nice campground. The little cabins are cute. If we didn't have a camper, we would totally do the cabins. Hope you're enjoying your new rig.
We are thinking about paying for the KOA membership to save us some money when we stay there. I love St. Louis, but Ron and the boys haven't been there, so we will definitely take advantage of this campground when we make it to the area to explore. Thanks for sharing!
We'd planned on using KOAs as quick stops on our ways to other destinations and joined their rewards thing in anticipation of that, but we haven't really gotten to use it yet. Even still, I think one more stay and it pays for itself. When you head this way, if you are able to plan in advance, take advantage of some of the amazing state parks on your way to/from the area. This KOA will be a really good base camp for St Louis stuff though! Please do reach out if you want any suggestions when planning for the area!
Nice campground and review. Nice that some of the sites have a firepit and chairs. Cool cabins. The Kozy Kaboose is neat. Great drone footage, Scott. Thanks for sharing, Scott & Katie.
You know I’m 100% committed to state parks only. However, your review might’ve swayed me to give this place a shot! I mean I really don’t care for private campgrounds because I feel like they sacrifice space over getting as many people in as they can but this looks decent! Good video!!
We were pleasantly surprised. Even though this one is so close to home, we'd never been. It really did not feel overcrowded at all. Still prefer one of our great state parks, but this one was enjoyable!
