I know what you mean. My first brew and only kit brew was a St. Peter’s ruby ale. Moved to all grain immediately afterwards as you get that Homebrew tang to it. Keep up the vids! Good to see a fellow dub on here
Are there any stout kits you would recommend? They're never going to be as good as all grain but i don't have the time for all grain and I'm looking to do a stout so my options are limited.
Hi yes I would recommend coopers irish stout , youngs harvest stout and shamrock velvet stout . Any one of these are nice in the own way . I think the shamrock is the closest to Guinness. Haley brewing . Have you a nitro/ o2 gas and creamer nozzle
@@grahamlawlorshomebrewrevie8227 thanks for the advice on the kits. I might try the Cooper's first as that's gotten some good mentions elsewhere which is impressive for a one tin kit. Anyway, I haven't gotten into kegging yet so it's all bottle conditioned beers for me. Kegging has been on my to do list for a few years and hopefully I get it done in 2024. Then I can figure out which type of gas works for my tastes.
@@aidanoconnor7299 No problem glad to help Aidan , you will have a fizzy stout then . Enjoy but once you go nitro you will never look back and kegs will save you so much time on bottling and cleaning. Cheers and happy new year
