It doesn't matter what they did or how they put the tv series together.........all the stunts n clever stuff ... just brought a very enjoyable tv series for all the kids at the time n also adults nowadays! to look back on. 😉👍

He also has a grappling hook (seen in Many Happy Returns), a voltage induction coil (seen in Knight of the Drones) and a winching system (seen in Knight Strike) tucked into his front end as well, for good measure!

Haha, I love that idea - especially if they made her a pink Pontiac with a bimbo attitude and her owner could be some sort of street-slick funky diva with flares and an "Oh you didn't" persona. She'd be KITT's KATT and her driver would have to be Michelle Knight. [KATT approaches a speed bump and hits it at 100 MPH] KATT: "Ow, I like, broke a tire - and I just had them polished! Like, pull over!" Michelle: "What you complain' 'bout foo'? In da Bronx we'd polish our nails on a brick wall - yo tires is fine!" KITT: "Oh really Michael, this is who I have to work with now?" Michael: "Sorry KITT, Foundation orders - they said we need to diversify our employment." KATT: "Who's the guy in the black leather jacket? He's like, totally hot!" KITT: [sigh!]

Glen Larson had a good idea, and could do this right as shown in Knight of the Phoenix, but the rest of this show is so badly made it's almost painful to watch once you're an adult.

Agreed it has continuity errors and blunders but I'm 53 and still love watching it.... Why? Because of the relationship of all the cast, some great driving and a still to this day lovely looking car.
