God has said in the Quran: { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 ) [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 ) And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 ) But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 ) And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 ) Quran
Wow! This is very cool. Seems a lot quieter than a quadcopter? How about wind performance/efficiency/stability as compared to conventional thrust systems?
@thinking4you they can fly forwards as fast as a fixed wing aircraft which helicopters cannot do, but hover which fixed wing can't do, so its a best of both holy grail. And they work because on each rotor is 4 wing like an aeroplane would have
Wow you can really chop some zombies up with that in case he never goes down like that outstanding bro put some titanium carbide tips on that and we're good to go
Honestly, I don't understand the physics or the aerodynamics of any of this, however, if such a radically different design is really so much more efficient, it is likely that even further removed designs from the conventional wisdom are even better. Isn't there a way to mathematically deduce that kind of thing?
50%less efficient and more weight on a single props. half the time ups and down half side by side thats were the trush comes in but it looks so cool :)
It appears that part of the rotation involves a flattening of the blades on the upstroke to minimize downward air flow, and they also appear to be utilizing an airfoil shape as well, possibly to utilize additional lift at the top quarter of the stroke?
@@Varue No, no, no, no, no. Spins the blade through 360 degrees, but probably only develops usable thrust through less than 120 degrees (but there is skin friction drag through the entire 360 degree cycle), and the blades have a lower finesse than traditional helicopter blades (so, likely, lower efficiency).
DumbledoreMcCracken Except that a cyclorotor’s blades can have twice the aspect ratio of a helicopter’s blades which points towards better efficiency. Look at the numbers these folks were getting on their testbed. They’re very good for a prototype of this scale. Propellers of the same size are not as energy efficient. Just do the math. Cyclorotors make better use of the air around them than propellers.
Ever thought funnel to construct sucks a the air on one side and a second wind tunnel , which derive the air , which is driven by top-down in order to generate further boost ? Would be closer to looking Victor Schauberger. :-D Best wishes
Try using a cryogenic stirling piston to produce liquid air that filled a resivor with the piston heads of a stirling cold gas V-6 engine. That can operate those spinning drums on each side. You could design a closed system and use Argon gas to turn to a super cold Liquid that would fuel the stirling cold gas piston cycle. If you constructed it correctly that drone could stay air born for days even month's. 😊😉
i don't get it. The lift generated by one airfoil should get cancelled out by the lift generated by the airfoil opposite to it. This thing shouldn't be able to fly.
A V twin magnetic stirling engine could power a lighter model. Be a great search and rescue tool since it would never run out of ⛽ you could even design hydraulic pumps to operate of the magnetic V twin sterling engine to operate swash plate pump motors with the gas peddle operating the swash plates and the swash plates would also be the breaking system has well. Hay a cool new tool for farming and farming equipment 🚜 no more need for diesel. ; )
Given all the photoshopped videos one sees nowadays, I'm very suspicious of this. I suspect the device is suspended from that ring on top of the broomstick.
Need smoke to see where all the turbulence is. A regular drone seems more stable then this design. Not saying it can not be more stable but needs more tweaking. Maybe use some kind of airflow shrouds.
