Cole Labrant Offends The ENTIRE Population Of Homeless People | Are We Surprised? 

He thinks people are ignoring him because he “looks homeless” but they’re probably actually like “oh shit, that’s that labrant guy. Avoid at all costs!!”

He was willing to give back THOUSANDS to people who were well off enough to give him money, but gave the homeless man $100. GROSS!

He 's too afraid to go to the "poor" areas. He's that kind of person.

I am always and will always be against filming homeless people. No one on their worst day wants to be filmed but these people are so desperate for help that they’re willing to give their dignity for money, food, anything. It breaks my heart. JUST DO THE GOOD DEED!

Can we acknowledge the fact that he was giving the non-homeless people 10 x's the amount & even offered up to 100 X's what they gave him & yet he hands the people who are actually homeless $100...WTF?? I Wish the cops had picked him up for panhandling & tossed him right in the heart of Skid Row...

This is so sickening. How is this helping a homeless person? He should have just gotten in a car, driven to the hardest impacted places where homeless people are, and given those people money or meals. How is that so hard?

Bethany Mota, when she was really big, went to a rough part of town with her sister at Christmas and they passed out sandwiches to the homeless and she didn't film it. She mentioned it in a video when she was talking about how important it is to give back. Better choice.

Cole always makes me feel icky and cringey but I wasn't expecting how gross this video would make me feel. It was honestly hard to get through. So many things wrong with what he did. You are so right, he uses God's name to benefit himself. Which is actually what using the Lord's name in vain is, not saying "oh my God". Cole is gross

You should look up President Chay, he really did go homeless for 5 days.He had a fundraiser on his videos and linked to habitat for humanity in the description. During his journey he spoke to many homeless people about their stories and it was just a very well put together series.

Every fall, before winter sets in, a group of us do a collection for the homeless. We make personal care bags to hand out, we collect blankets, coats, hats and gloves. And we all travel to a city a few hours away and hand them out. I say this because of what you said Josh, and it hit the nail on the head. The people who are the most generous are normally the ones that have the least. This past fall we were invited into a homeless camp, they were very proud to show us their setup. While we were in there, one gentleman was telling my husband about these coffee packets they get and how much they like them (it has the coffee, creamer and sugar all in one). And before we left the camp, he came over and handed my husband two packets of coffee to try. We walked back to our car in silence. This man who lives in a tent in the dead of winter, who cooks his food on a little camp stove on a tree stump, this man was so generous that he wanted to share what little he had with us. That spoke absolute volumes.

My husband came home with soot on his face today from an 11 hour work day at a REAL job.

Cole literally has enough money to buy that guy a house, instead he gives him 100 dollars and makes 50x that off exploiting him

I used to do the “buying food, instead of giving money” until one day I watched a homeless woman accepting the items bought for her from inside the grocery store put the items inside a cart around the corner from where she was standing, something made me go up to her and ask her what it is I could possibly try to help her with. She told me I’m out here trying to better myself I an trying to gather as much change to get a four day bus ticket, and a nice pair of clothing for a job interview she had for that following Monday. Never looked at the homeless the same again. She was not turning away dinners,lunches but she simply wanted to better herself in trying to get a job. Saturday night I picked her up at the same location I saw and talked to her. I did not have the money that very day I talked to her so I asked her if she was at that location a lot she told me she would be because it’s the area in which she is trying to get a job. I got a hotel that Saturday and took her to Walmart, interview clothing, shoes, hair brushes and bathing items along with a bag to store it in. Never saw her again at that location, I however was checked out a few days before Christmas Eve by that sweet girl who got the gift she was praying for someone to give her a chance. He’s not homeless anymore.

We have been volunteering 20 years with Soup Mobile in Dallas. Not all homeless are dirty, or have substance issues. We have a regular gentleman that planet fitness allows to shower daily, and they wash his clothes. He's a very handsome man. He lost his wife and daughter 15 years ago, and his mind. One lady has the mindset of maybe a 12 year old. She lived with her mother until she died and ended up homeless. I don't leave feeling like I've done something good. I feel so sad that more can't be done. People like Cole will never understand the reality of homelessness.

He can’t go to a less affluent area because then he might have to interact with the exact people he’s impersonating. California has a housing crisis, there are so many homeless people, it would’ve been great to see one of them confront him for using their hardships for content.

As someone who has worked with the homeless, this is so incredibly offensive!! I can’t believe he is using the concept of homelessness to make money for himself. If you have a pure heart, you don’t need to film your good deeds.

This video makes me sick and feels like a scummy twist on Ohpera's Pass It On "let me pay for your Starbucks" from years ago.... Although I do not think there was anything wrong with the praying father taking the money. We don't know where he is in life; that money may have helped him make Christmas for his kids or payed the water bill. Or maybe he didn't need the money and this caught him off guard. Who knows what he (or anyone) would have done if he had time to process the offer or went in to the situation knowing what was happening. Broadcasting gifts is a huge trigger for me and it is gross from both ends. It is nasty to brag about your good works and it sucks to be in a position where you need money more than you care about dignity at the moment. Meaning a simulation of receiving charity means agreeing to take it publicly or having it filmed.

My old pastor (Christian Baptist Southern) used to say- Give what you can to whom ever you can. You’re not accountable to what they do with the gift, just be willing to give and God will bless you all the same. - he prefaced with a similar attitude to yours about not liking the typical Christian attitude about worrying what someone may or may not spend the money on.

In Judaism when you do a good deed it is called a mitzvah. It is doing something with whole heart for no reward or expectation in return. Its just simply doing something kind because you want to. The more mitzvahs you do with true whole intention the closer you are said to be to g-d. I use to always not want to give cash etc but my rabbi changed me. He said just give what you can when you can. Period. What they do with it is on them. What's on you is the intention. Cole's intention is views. That is not a mitzvah. Go back to the books. If you are so religious then be like jesus. Stop using your faith for likes too!

Not going to lie, my husband and I no longer give money to homeless any more. My mother in law live catty corner from a couple that go every morning and do this. Literally they have walked back to their house and we have heard them yelling at eachother over "not making enough money". They bring their dog, suitcases, sleeping bags, blankets and then at the end of the day they go back to their home... 🙄🙄🙄

As someone who works but heavily relies on tips it’s the people who are in middle class neighborhoods that tip the best! I’ve always said that! I am thankful for any tip but it always happens that way

If you have to film yourself doing a kind deed, you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. 😒 If you can afford to do so, I always have at least two book bags filled with items and food gift cards for people in need. I keep it in the trunk of my car. Another great idea is taking old purses you don’t need/want anymore and filling it with women’s health needs. Donate old suit cases to children’s homes and shelters. There’s so many things you can do for others without needing to record yourself for praise. 🙄 It angers me to my core seeing people record themselves and putting a camera in someone’s face who isn’t in a great position at that moment.

A couple years ago I collected donations of purses and toiletries. I stuffed over 200 purses and took them to our local homeless shelters. This year I'm hoping to do purses and fanny packs. My young nieces and nephew want to help me!! The Hamilton and Niagara region are very generous for a good cause.

It’s poverty porn. I got my first accounting firm job when I was homeless. Many truly homeless people don’t ‘look’ stereotypically homeless.

What irks me the most with these influencers like this, we know you have a lot of money so this is their way of showing like “hey I make a lot of money and this is how I’m giving back.”Like just shut up, don’t live in multi million dollar homes, and help your community and do it in secret. What you said about not telling people when you do good things is so true and thats what turns me off about all these rich youtubers and celebs that do that stuff for views. Cole was wearing expensive clothes and shoes. I wouldn’t give any money to him either because he looks like a faker. He doesn’t look like he needs money and isn’t homeless.

I don't give to the homeless people in my area anymore. This one time I did, it was when I was a broke college kid myself and gave to a man who seemed kind and said he needed money to get to a different state. Years later I still see him around. The police in my area write posts on their social media account to educate the public about how much the panhandlers make here. It's ridiculous. That's why I now give to charities when I can instead. Things like shelters or programs or halfway houses, because the people out on my city's streets really are scammers, regardless of how they look.

I love your content. You know it and while I understand what you’re trying to say, I think people need to adjust their ideas of what a homeless person looks like…. They come from all walks of life, for all kinds of reasons ; abuse, sudden loss of income, loss of family unit… and of course mental health ( including addiction, non compliant or undiagnosed schizophrenia, bipolar..etc) I was homeless as a result of a combination of those reasons with my daughter . Main reason was abuse. It went on for years and I couldn’t extract myself from the perp unless I left every single thing I owned and lived in hiding on the streets while waiting for the legal system to take care of my case ( and they failed miserably) The end result is I, an educated mom of five who lived a very normal middle class to upper middle class life was instantly living in poverty. As a result I’m worse for the wear now than I was in my original homeless condition. Point is. You may pass people in the streets and have ZERO idea that they are homeless. Those that look homeless are probably the saddest most chronic cases. My writing is about my climb out of the absolute terror and loss and how my faith was pretty much all I had. In writing I’ve met people from so many different walks.. a man who double mortgaged his house to pay for his wife of decades cancer treatment. He lost his wife AND his home. Sorry. This is MY cause and I’m extremely sensitive to it. We ALL need to take a look at homelessness. There is NO reason in our countries ( USA and Canada) that anyone should put their head down on concrete pillows. But you ARE right. Instead of doing what he is doing he could give to a shelter. Work at a shelter. People who give are usually the ones who can relate and know how it is. That’s why they’re so generous because rich people usually can’t fathom what it’s like or they forget where they came from.

Josh talking about the rich people always saying that they’re blessed by God made me think of this story of mine. I was in Sunday school just asking for prayers because of the financial situation but didn’t wanna give any details. And I had an older lady who was just trying to be sweet and helpful I know. She said that life won’t always be this way and God will bless us. I told her that that’s not necessarily true. I might be poor my entire life. And I’m OK with that. This will probably be my forever struggle. But God does bless me already. I get to wake up every day. I have my family. Most importantly I have joy. That’s how God blesses us.

Josh, I so agree with everything you said. People have twisted scriptures to suit themselves and their own greed. It breaks my heart that “Christians” have fallen for the prosperity gospel instead of realizing that ( in my humble opinion) the scriptures are speaking of spiritual blessings, not monetary things.
