In the late 70s I worked for a trailer hire company called Trec Rentals in east London, they are long gone. I would deliver flat bed trailers to customers sometimes 3 high. I would wind up the legs on each trailer to keep the height down and load them opposite ways around. They would be loaded by 3 forklifts, one under the underun rear bar and one each side under the chassis near the front. They would lift each trailer and I would reverse under. Thanks for interesting videos, it takes me back.
Just starting my new career as a hgv driver... firstly theory aspect. Watching your vid’s has given me a good insight to the job, and I’m saying it’s pretty cool... thanks for the vids and keep the new content coming 😊🤘
15:42 RESPECT! Ce bine ca aveti unde sa le spalati si felicitari pentru ca ai inclus in video. Foarte util tuturor soferilor sa mentina un camion curat!
WOW Trailer on top of other trailer! That's amazing mate! I have seen it before with my own eyes but in this vlog looks better and i am impressed that they are secured with normal straps. Good Job mate!
Multumesc mult pentru vlog! Cred ca faci o munca foarte dificila si te felicit! Am sa distribui acest vlog la mine pe comunitate! Te salut si sa ai un week-end minunat!
Love your videos mate I have subscribed nice to see a genuine guy going about his work trucking I am a truck driver livestock they do not need any ratchet straps lots of laughs just out of curiosity when I see you strapping how do you know how many to put on is it to do with the weight or could it be the size like that trailer you transported keep up the good work now you keep me smiling😊
Let me tell you how to carry trailers safely and why your method is dangerous. You must strap the axles of the trailer to your platform and of course chock the wheels front and back - you also strap the legs and be sure to lock the winder so that it cannot unwind. Th e reason for not doing it your way is that the deck of the trailer you are holding down can bounce the straps loose - you strap the axles by going around the wheel fore and aft. stay safe from an old timer that has carried tractors, trailers, farm implements etc without any issue PS cars as well.
@@Raul689 You are a good man and most of what you say is spot on, we need more like you on the road but sadly I left the industry in disgust after operating a fleet of LGVs and getting no thanks for 20 years of trying with not a blemish. PS Chaining would be difficult to do - just 3 tonne ratchet straps ok. Just another point ensure that air is removed from the axles being carried so that the platform sits on the rebound rubbers inside the bellows.
