Great advice! As soon as I walk, I take myself into the rib flare. I will pay more attention to my posture. Thanks for the tips!

A slight hinge at the hips and shortening your stride focusing on a mid foot strike can help with this plus it has the added bonus of helping you use your glutes more

Katrina this is all great, particularly towards the end of the video where you demonstrated how to keep one's posture corrected when walking. Thank you!

This was the most understandable video on the topic I have ever seen! Good job! The only thing i found confusing was the nipple thing.

Extremely helpful! Thank you! Any tips/cues for pushing off during walking? Is there a movement I could practice in the house that would spill over to my walking outside?

I have a lot in my pelvic floor program, but even lying on your belly and squeezing one glute at a time

Thank you!! Can you please demonstrate how to stack or what to cue in rotational movements?

Great question - think of a pig on a stick - where your spine is the stick and you are rotating around it so your QLs don't take over

Love this, thank you! What exercises in particular would you have someone with improper positioning of ribcage perform to improve their posture?
@CoreFitnessforMoms

Any of my programs work well for this - but the most common issue I see is lack of back expansion and lack of thoracic mobility (if the rib cage is the issue)

I absolutely love this video & have shared it with others. This is the key to so much for maybe 95%?? of the population. I love how simple you make it! btw, this helps with your vision as well. I've gone from wearing -7.00 glasses to -2.00 in 3 years after 47 years of wearing glasses. Check out Mark Warren & Nathan Oxenfeld videos.

does that mean if r looking into phone and typing, we are not stacked
@CoreFitnessforMoms
@CoreFitnessforMoms 4 года назад
For most people yes, and that can cause forward head posture if done too much (just look at kids these days :( ). With your phone you should bring it up to eye level versus looking down to it
