Our state is always under counted in the Census. In the 2010 Census, I was a Census worker and often got hostile reactions when I went to homes, including being threatened at gunpoint. Our reservations are even worse. They get almost no information submitted because there are plenty people who are afraid to divulge information,, workers who can't find addresses or can't interpret/speak the language, and simple misrepresentation. There are families who also give false information because they are afraid they will be caught violating a tax law or a benefits eligibility law (SNAP, TANF, SSI, SSD).

I think it would be great if I were asked 100 questions months before each election, then have a computer program match me to the politicians with like voting history. This should also increase voter turnout.

Keep in mind November 3rd is the LAST day to vote. Vote as soon as possible to make sure your vote is accounted for. Most states have your job give you a few hours off as well so check if your state requires your job to do this. And also do your census! Make sure your kids are accounted for! The more people accounted for, the more funding for your area. Let’s take care of our kids and hold ourselves and politicians accountable, including local politicians who appoint officers. Vote out oppression, vote in change. & take care of the planet! Love yall!
