I would love to meet Johnny Gill. I hope that my wish would come true. I have been loving this man since I can remember. If I was feeling down I would listen to him and Stacey Lattisaw. When I got older I was fighting depression and Johnny Gill would be me out of my depression. I have tried to get on Ellen so that I could win in things like the Cheerios or I would write to her but I got no response. I can't afford tickets to travel to see him. I can't afford a car. Johnny gill hairstyle on this interview looked cool.this had to be in the late 80's the box hair style with the fade and part started to come to style in 1987to 88 back then and the curls was fading away in fashion.

JG didn't get any credit. Everything was Stacy this and Stacy that. Stacey said "It's my new single" even though JG sang a duet with her. No wonder he went solo. It was def. for the best.
Stacy Lattisaw was on her 10th album. She was pretty set. JG was only popular because of her. She discovered him. Maybe he’s done alright since but he’ll never have the popularity she has and she’s not making music anymore. It was her album her release.
@@michaelnbernard Where is she now? Many ppl still don't know her. She used JG. Her greatest hits were songs she sang with JG. After they went their separate ways, she lacked the confidence to compete with (she sure could Sang tho ) the likes of Janet Jackson and other female singers. Thus, she left the industry. JG. on the other hand, had the voice and the confidence that made him a great and memorable singer with or without New Edition or LSG.

In the New Edition BET mini-series Johnny's character alludes to this particular in a conversation with Ralph's character. Is this another example of creative artistic expression on behalf of the producers? Or did it really go down like like between Johnny & Stacy?
yeah, I was curious about that too! I saw that part in the movie...it's seems they didn't really hold back and tried to be as authentic as possible. hmmmm....could it be true?

Stacy actually said that this wasn't true during an interview I read. I don't know if it was something her mother kept a secret from her or she actually didn't do it and it was something johnny thought.
