Mission accomplished! Stadler has set the Guinness World Records title for the furthest distance achieved by a hydrogen-powered passenger train without refueling. Our FLIRT H2 is officially a World Record Holder, driving a total of 2,803 kilometers (1741.7 miles) for over 46 hours on one fuel supply.

My question is where does the hydrogen come from is it made via solar wind where is it coming from natural gas or coal-fired plants?

Hydrogen will soon be coming from any type of water safely stored on-board any train, truck or boat using energetic cavitation impact by Eirex Tech the 5 year old company in Canada. View the 8 year old RU-vid video by Prof. Marc Ramsey representing Vanderbilt University titled "Energetic Cavitation Impact" or view Cavitation Energy Systems who was threatened to stop free energy demonstrations using cavitation with water. When they used salt water comparable to ocean water the results of cavitation from diesel injectors with salt water was highly explosive. I wonder if Eirex Tech has any noticible improvements with ocean water instead of using polluted or clean pond water?

We like how a boat can safely float on hydrogen fuel safely stored in ocean, pond or polluted water.

The 5 year old energetic cavitation impact company in Canada will safely store highly competitive hydrogen gaseous fuel at (25 Cents per Kilo Gram is equivalent to 25 Cents per gasoline gallon equivalent) with any type of ocean, fresh or polluted pond water is comparable to Prof. Marc Ramsey, Vanderbilt University with his 8 year old RU-vid video titled "Energetic Cavitation Impact" worth exploring for open minds.

Wow nice! Don’t know what the prices for hydrogen are atm. But this has great potential and it’s very efficient and carbon neutral. If it can be a fast train it would be perfect

Hydrogen isn very expensive I watched several videos with a Toyota Mirai and the Mirai holds about approximately. Three to four kilograms of fuel on that fuel costs between 140 $280 and that will give the Mauri about 300 to 350 MI

Actually why couldn't Stadler just run the train until the fuel tank is empty and the train stalls?

It's simple: an H2 tank must never be completely emptied. You cannot compare H2 with any liquid fuel

Nice, but this colour scheme is a disaster in the making, basically a stealth train. Combine it with teenagers on their phones or elderly people and they never see it coming... Best colour is red or yellow if you'd ask me.

This is just Stadler’s presentation livery. Of course, when operators purchase their own sets, they will be customized into their own livery.
