I've just purchased this pencil and I still don't know how to use HB, 2B grip incidator thing printed on the back of the clip. I thought it would change the sharpening effect for the cap when I was a kid lol. I still have no idea what is it for.
Hi! If you buy a lead, say, of the 2b type, then you indicate that by changing the position of the clip... or changing the cap to the one that comes in the staedtler lead box.
Don't let the colour put you off. They are fantastic pencils that are very well balanced. The one thing you should pay attention to is the grip. It conforms with the rest of the pencil vs the chunkier grips (which are terrible since they change the balance). However it all depends what you use them for. I use them for Art which means I have to have loose hand use as well as precision.
Haven't try that, but I suppose you can do it in two ways: 1) take off any lead inside the pencil body and then tap it gently on a hard surface; 2) take off the cap and unscrew the metal part. You probably end up with the pencil's "internal organs" exposed. Clean the whole thing and put it back again.
KEEP CALM! BREATH IN... BREATH OUT... First make shure you have a 2 mm lead. Then, you have two ways to do that. 1) remove the cap and insert the led. 2) press the cap and insert the lead from bellow.
