How To Do It:
1. Click the Settings Icon (shaped like a cog wheel) in the top right hand corner. Then "See All Settings."
2. Click “Labels” tab (second from the left).
3. In the “Labels” section click the button “Create new label”.
4. Type in “CC’ed only” in the box for the new label name. Select “Create”.
5. Go to the “Filters” tab (fourth from the left).
6. Scroll to the bottom and click “Create new filter”.
7. In the filter criteria box, type “cc:me” (without quotes) in the “includes the words” field.
8. Click “Create filter with this search”.
9. Tick the option “Skip the Inbox (Archive it)”.
10. Do NOT Tick the option “Mark as read” (unless you don’t want to see the new message count
indicator any more for future emails like this one).
11. Tick the option “Apply the label” and select your “CC’ed only” label from the drop down list.
12. Also tick the option “Also apply filter to (X) matching conversations” if you want the label to be
applied retrospectively to old messages.
13. Click “Create filter”.
The rule you have just created will now redirect all NEW emails fitting the criteria to your new “CC’ed only” label/folder rather than the inbox. If you don’t want this to happen, simply delete the filter by going back to the Filters screen (steps 5) then check your filters list then click "Delete" beside it.
