Do you really need a stage monitor as a live solo musician?
The short answer is probably not. It's just you up there. And especially if you're playing through a portable column PA system like the Electro-Voice Evolve 50M.

In this video, I show you how to connect your floor monitor to the Evolve 50M system. I'm pairing it with the Electro-Voice PXM MP12 floor monitor.
You'll also hear some examples behind the stage with the monitor and without the monitor.
Lastly, I share some reasons you may want to consider using a floor monitor even if you use a portable column PA.
