This video is just a Gold mine for filmmakers. I've never seen this much detailed video on Post Production ever. It's like a every single step guide. I'm so happy that you exist on RU-vid and made it.
This depends heavily on the movie/show - if they have the money they'll do it in conjunction with the edit, if they don't, they'll most likely be separated
Very very well documented video. I guess has to be one of the best to ever explain all the phases of post production. Hats off to the author for putting this up. Gained a lot of information. Cheers.
This is the BEST explanation of the cinema workflow/pipeline I have found on RU-vid. Thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with us all THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!
Wow it was so amazing, I have never been explained this detailed, thankyou fo sharing your knowledge really appreciate that . Never knew there were so many video and audio format conversions required for different environment.
OUTSTANDING. I would have loved to have known what some of the hardware in FACT were -- (examples of actual "Hero Boxes") and the specs of DCI, but, I'll enjoy researching it on my own. Thank you very much. Best video I've been able to find explaining this to me.
Whoa! I was just thinking about this process and how Hollywood or Bollywood renders the movie...now I know there is much more to that! Thanks for this video!.
I work in digital advertising in Ghana (Africa) and I have been wondering how the process works for years now. I even asked my boss for a training on this. thank you very much.. Some parts went over my head but I will watch it again. thank you very much
Such a "boring" yet interesting, informative and important video. I learned a lot and it was very helpful, but my partner left the room. Where she usually stays and watches. Thanks again for tackling the technical as well.
Very nice video as always. Why don't you make an in-depth video like this about all the different jobs in the industry? For example... not many people know exactly what a producer is, or what's the difference from a producer and an exectuive producer. Or what's a script supervisor, a production runner... And I bet most people don't even know precisely what a DP does...
Wolfcrow thanks for this video , essential stages for people being involved with post production works . Please make a video on audio syncing for cinema because many people get confused with term Line Up .
informative, preventative, inspirational! huge thank you, also curious about different jobs in the industry, looking forward to future vids. greetings from beijing
Excellent as always! I have learnt a lot from your videos. I have a request: Could you please make seperate videos about each individual box in your chart (e.g. Visual Effects, Mastering)? I understand one cannot master all trades, but I am sure your subscribers would benefit when you share your knowledge about different aspects of post processing from a high level. Keep up the good work!
First of all thank you very much for this video and everything else you post, you are always my number one go to when i need to understand something about workflows. Second I want to ask you about ACES the new color management system and where and how it would fit into this workflow. Thank you
I have recently started to watch your videos, it is awesome, sticks to the point and very informative, please do a module related with pre-production process and the actual shooting nitty-gritty,,
Please make video on same topic considering today's film postproduction scenario. It will be helpful and much needed for young filmmakers like me. We can plan equipment and softwares considering total process till mastering end.
I think this is the best video I have come across about the post-production workflow. Please make a video on the various aspect ratios used to shoot the film. Also I am curious to know how 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' was shot with various aspect ratios and its post-production workflow to get the final output.
