I just played the solo perfectly with the backing track for the first time. It was friggin amazing.

It's such a powerful feeling to play a solo and it matches up with the backing track

The solo is a masterpiece of course, but no one talks about how much of a masterpiece the music in the background of the solo is.

It took me four two hour days of practice to play this solo, I learned the acoustic part back in the 80's but no RU-vid then so I never got it right. Now with the help of this fine backing track I'm ....Jimmy Page

I found it really helpful to use the custom playback speed setting on youtube when learning this solo. I started off at 0.75 speed until I felt comfortable, then moved to 0.8, then 0.85, and so on. Definitely makes a huge difference once you start playing it at full speed!

lol i didn't know i could play this good, i mean i knew how to play but my fingers were a little slow, after i play comfortably numb completely amazing, there was no need to practice this epic solo, it just happened, so, pink floyd saved the day for me and my awesome date with lots of love making :)) thank you gilmour again!

just got a tele with 9 gauges. zeppelin was the first thing i played. it just sounded perfect

Thank you! The snare is Ludwig LM302 made in Taiwan. This is more cheap than LM402, but the sound is not so bad. :)
