I tried this demonstration with my TS16 but the distance, front and back from a stake point is not real time changing. Only the distance, left and right to a stake point is changing. If there is explanation for this ?

Set the measurement mode to "Continuous with lock" If you have a robotic instrument. Once you press distance the values will constantly update

Slow the video down to like .75x. That should help.

Wow. Who the hell surveys like this. Facing instrument. In/out. That's how pros do it. If you can't orientate in your head you shouldn't be a surveyor
