SEASians, mostly Malays, indons, Singaporean and pinoys are notorious for excellent code- switching with either local languages or primarily English for the new generations.
Notice how the teacher just gets more and more furious and doesn’t even ATTEMPT to listen to her. She just tries to use fear to instill her beliefs because she can’t properly defend them
Me personally, if I were religiously and the argument was “Well, science is something tangible that we can see, measure, and understand.” I’d bring up the fact that there are tons of things that science will NEVER be able to see, measure, or understand. For example, the universe is infinitely expanding and its projected that it will get so bad that we won’t be able to see anything else of the observable universe. Not to mention, we still don’t know how dark matter or strange matter work. We can’t see it. We can’t even measure it. But scientists believe IT exists based on theory, so how is the bible any different? THOSE are arguments.
@@worldwaide Because with our understanding of how the universe works, dark matter is still a lot more plausible than a magical sky wizard. You cant just go "I don't know therefore god and not just any god this very very specific god out of the thousands that have been believed to exist throughout all of human history". Thats fallacious bullshit.
@@worldwaideBro is saying how the Bible any different... compared to logical thinking, observation & using brain... dawg I don't think you cut out to be neither religious nor non religious but infact a circus 🤡

Actually she didn't really say she didn't believe in God, instead she proposed that the bible was more symbolic than the literal interpretation the nun was teaching.
She's literally a child, and the nun is saying she's going to go to hell for simply wondering about the existence of hell as if she is the judge of people's souls. I know this is funny but there are people like that in real life💀
@@MaiaEmpyrean either way she needs to learn how to behave with good manners but her parents clearly Didnot know how to raise a child and now we this nonsense happening
Well Europe is finding out what happens when you export a number of refugees. I am sure they're loving those riots caused by those extremists. It's very ironic seeing a drag queen next to a girl in full body hijab in NY train though. The clash of both extremes.
The Big Bang Theory was formulated by a Catholic priest and was not offensive to the nun. The girl professing to be an atheist was what triggered Sister Teresa.
@@-rekaii Obviously it can still be disproven because it is a theory. There might be better theories in the future that actually explains how the Universe formed.
>"If you need the threat of hell to be good, then you're just a bad person on a leash." When will atheists ever realize that a core tenet of the Christian religion is that no one is good?
i kinda agree but i also think that its basically one of almost every religious person's reasons to be good and its pretty much kinda unavoidable unless youre sure you wont go to hell, as long as it isnt the only reason and you have other reasons to try and be a good person then youre not someone thats THAT cruel everyone has committed sins throughout their whole life anyway and what matters is that we do our best to avoid them where possible and continue being accepting and respectful towards everyone regardless of their religions, theories or differences, its important to be open-minded whether you believe in God or not doesnt necessarily say whether youre a good person or not, your actions and intentions are the ones that decide that. ive met many atheists that are really nice people and i love them but i also met a bunch of people who arent that nice and they are religious, and vice versa so i dont think it says much. religion can both lead you to be more arrogant and yet it can lead you to be a better person. it really depends on how you think just wanted to add my opinion here, feel free to disagree
Movie aside, the real context here is sad. Sad because teachers wouldn't respect and consider the learner's right and point to question/doubt about something. Especially CATHOLIC TEACHERS. They'll be always sticking to a specific perspective and not get far away from it, invalidating/disregarding the focal point of a learner's right to know and to personally justify kung reasonable ba iyong tinuturo sa kanila.
Not really. I've been through different Catholic schools from Pre-School to College. I guess nuns were like this before but most teachers in Catholic schools today are lay person now. Invalidating/disregarding the focal point of a learner is case to case basis because even public school teachers are like this (most of my cousins went to public schools including my parents and they didn't want me to experience the same fate they had). College instructors and professors are like this too especially the unprogressive boomers
But it's still a catholic school and you woud expect teachers and studens to have catholic beliefs and not have to argument on a concept that's accepted in a certain place
Damn the Catholic school hits hard I remember half of our class had our CLE (Christian Living Education) Teacher walk out of the classroom after rebutting her misogynistic and homophobic beliefs. She was very very passionate about it to the point where she even said the same as the nun here to a classmate and putting down another as she didn’t want to take the man’s last name after marriage. It was funny seeing her fuming, our class was visited by the Principal and Guidance Counselor.
I remembered in my CLE class Mary Magdelene had many husband's and that's why she deserved to get stoned. She lied she was a hooker(nothing wrong with it still) just weird how my teacher was so blaze about it 🤡 CSA Phillipines.
I love love love how they preach, “Love your neighbor!!”, like Jesus said but if you aren’t aligning with their ~standards~ of what and who a person should be, all of a sudden you deserve to go to hell and die!!!!!! 😍😍😍 christians and catholics are like the most hypocritical people to ever walk this earth…… 🤡

I love that girl omg. Like she is the defenition of reasonable person who has a brain and the nun is the robot who just learned it has no brain and is a robot.
There are a lot of foreign films I’ve seen as a kid but wasn’t sure I dreamed up. I once saw this foreign Christian movie from like 2009 where there is this farmer who is trying to plant some vegetable. I remember a scene from that movie which featured a bunch of kids rubbing their mud hands on a wall beside the house.

Just visit the history of humanity and they literally burn people alive for unjust reasons and superstition. They are hasty to grab credit to scientific advancement and seem to forget the age that they persecuted science people. 😂
Once in Reading Class, one of my friend asked our lecturer (he was a pastor) if bibles counts as fictional literature, he said "yes" and everyone went 👀👀👀👀👀👀 To be fair, he's quite old at that time so probably he doesn't really heard their question.
This iconic scene made me remember that one time when i was still in highschool when our highschool teacher said to that one mean girl “you’re potential b*tch, Samantha”, and she said, “Not a potential, but really a b*tch”
They are not forcing you to do you even know what forcing means preaching isnt forcing you have a choice to convert forcing you would be putting a gun against your head and threatening you to convert or else. But someone peacefully preaching isnt that.
@@user-eo1rq7fy9qwho is this nebulous ‘they’, anyways, disrespecting does not correlate to stating your opinion. The teacher here is more at fault than the student. Why aren’t you talking about the teacher? She threatened a child with burning in hell, seems more disrespectful.
