I just don't get why OEMs have to have so much tuck and unrolled edges. Maybe it's so we have "room to grow" and something to do, but oh well. BTW, this 20mm means that you can go ~2" wider wheels with stock offset (assuming you clear suspension parts on the inside) and have the same stance. And the best compromise for cost, weight, strength, and looks that's a 9 wide is Enkei RPF1's Couple those with either a 255 tire, and you have a BITCHIN setup that'll also look sick. Thicc mode would be a 255/40 on a 17x9 +35 or +45, but if you wanna stick with the 18's you'd use the same specs except go down a profile (so 35 series). RPF1's come in both sizes, either offset on the 17's (only +35 on the 18's) and your lug pattern. Personally, I'd go 17's to maximize blowout safety, ride comfort, weight savings, and straight line traction. Either way, _it's time for a turbo, bro!_
Basically pointed out what i plan on doing, i’m looking at a similar lightweight wheel 17x9 with 245’s or 255’s but i do enjoy the stock wheel’s look for now. Getting spacers just helped the stock wheels survive for now.
Looks terrible lowered. The modern thing is to go with a thicker side walls on the tire for these cars 👍🏼 for improvements everywhere especially ride comfort
