I think it's very cool that after Sean finishes his solo, he goes right in with Home Free and sings on the "Do's" and it sounds great. None of the other judges started singing the harmonies like he did.
Matthew Woods Aca-community is small, but growing, we support all the grps & still hv our favs..We love Home Free's 'rich' sound, Voiceplay's 'high' harmonies, etc!
Holi crap, Nick Lachey!!!! Didn't see that coming! Whoooo, it's been years since I've heard you sing, but you still got it. I just found out about Home Free, and you can't deny talent when you see/hear it. They're amazing! God blessed them with voices and good looks for sure! The judges have great voices too...
The first guys name is Austin Brown, look up Home Free on google, yahoo, or bing, what ever one you use, and watch ALL their videos and loo at the pictures.
All the judges look like midgets in front of the tall men of Home Free... Patrick was rocking and I loved the end when Austin and Shawn did the riffs together! Btw I think people are hating it because they all each have a different style of voice. Home Free is country, Jewel is both country and pop with some soul, Shawn is R&B boys band, and Nick and Patrick are pop. Everyone by themselves are great artists but together, ehhhh... but I give them credit for doing that!!! Great effort!!!
I just found this...was it a guest performance, because they were Season 4 winners. Loved Austin with Sean. Enjoyed finding a new performance. Percussion flawless, as usual!
No I don't think so. Tim never used subharmonics. I think it can be chest or a growl. But I think that it was a growl G1 because he already hit a growl G1 at 2:14 und it sound simular.
The judges have much different singing styles compared to Home Free. Home Free is together and simple, with well placed grace notes, while the judges just didn't want to stay on the same note. I tend to notice this when acapella groups sing with "normal" singers.
