And just like the Lord told your mom when she was concerned about leaving your home to conduct services in the new building because she feared the Lord's spirit would not be in the new place, the Lord told her that the spirit will follow 🕊️🕊️🕊️🌟🕊️🕊️🕊️
Hi John, was good to hear this again, thank you. I have something that's bothering me. I feel confused about the relationship I have with my mum and would like your opinion. All my life she has been emotionally unavailable, it's been neglect, you never really know where your at with her, as she lies. As a Christian I have forgiven the past, but it's tough when she's the same and still hurtful. I'm living a distance from her at the moment and am not well to see her to discuss the issues I have in person, which I feel is the appropriate way to go. I need all the uplifting as I come off this psychiatric medication and each week I talk to her usually leaves me feeling hurt and let down. From a Christian perspective I would value your opinion. Good morning Kelly I’m sorry to hear that. I will certainly be praying for your relationship with your mom. My advise would be to first talk to God ( that’s what I do all the time when I need advise )and read encouraging scriptures ( such as Philippians 4:13 , etc…) that will leave you knowing your words , thoughts and feelings were heard and understood. Also while praying let the Lord lead you to scripture it’s amazing how God gives us exactly what we need. I also find that praying in tongues helps tremendously !! Romans 8:26 Lastly find a great Christian church that you can trust and talk to the leadership there. But let that be your last resort. I always go to God first !! He loves you so much and wants to talk to you !! Read Romans 5 … great chapter !! I hope this helps Blessings sister !!
@@johnrigneyministries4578 Hey John, thanks so much for replying to me so quickly! For your support and advice. I feel you have bought me more clarity to this situation. I have been talking to God about this and Christ, firstly I heard Christ tell me that my role as her mother is now over!! (Yes is like the roles are reversed in this relationship) but after 46 years is going to take some adjusting. I also have been given signs and messages, yours included that the encouragement and support I look to in her I am to find in Christ, the strength, love and support will be given to me there. She is not capable and is unlikely to change her ways now, but I shall 🙏 I was then concerned for her soul, I was guided to open my Bible and came across the story of asleep not dead, which I felt was letting me know she does have remorse but keeps it private, this is between her and God. I feel your message has helped me see that my relationship with God and Christ is happening in the best way and I am to trust what I am being told. I shall look into praying in tongues.
