This clip is insane! Came here after listening to Zac Keefer's podcast series 'Luck'. I live in the UK and know nothing about college football. Amazing what Luck was capable of as a football player.
Johnny Manziel did it in a game at Texas A&M. He caught up to the defender and caused the fumble, another guy picked it up and Manziel chased him down and tackled him also. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WO8miZNzyIQ.html&ab_channel=CarlJones
I've watched this clip like 10 times, was THERE when it happened and I still can't get over how hard Luck hit him. A still of this is now my desktop background.
i just got home from this game. WOW this has got to be one of the most exciting football games i will ever see in my life. the stadium was PACKED and nobody left until about 5 minutes after the game was over. i can't even describe it
Whether he deserved a penalty or not, there isn't even a QB in the NFL would do this. Even if he had been nailed with the penalty, he still saved the touchdown. I like some of the tackles he's made in the NFL after throwing picks (his fault) that were legal.
i was in the Red Zone about 50 yards away and it still puts a big smile on my face remembering how loud it was when Andy Luck CRACKED Shareece Wright :D GO STANFORD!
I'm an Oregon fan, and after seeing Andrew Luck at Autzen Stadium, even though we soundly won, I am ready to say that he is the best QB in the country.
USC fan here. Pause the video at 1:28 and you can see Luck leading with his SHOULDER, with his helmet in front of the defender (not in his chest). Clean hit. And awesome hit. Come on, man, the QUARTERBACK lays you out like that? Your street cred is bankrupt after that shot.
Gentlemen, it's like five in the morning where I live. My cat just took a huge diarrhea shit all over the bath mat. I had to fold it over and throw it outside. It stank up the whole house. The smell was so bad, I almost puked. There had to have been a pint of shit there. Oh God, it was horrible.
Did anyone else notice how lucky USC was to get the ball back? Luck's hit shot the ball out sideways out but it bounced off #4's foot and right back under the falling Shareece Wright. Can't get much more fortunate than that.
@tellthetruthg I know that catch had me crying with Laughter. This kid is going to be a great one. I am definitely scared he isn't most likely going to be on my team because my team is winning. Plus we got Josh Freeman.
@Sentenza233 I agree, but Rodgers was like 24th~ pick, cant remember exactly. Plus, Favre was on the down slope of his career and GB expected him to retire after 1-2 years. I think Peyton still has atleast 4-5 years of elite level play in him and Colts obv. need more than a backup QB right now. Just my opinion.
