Lots ofvwork but hard to avoid spoilers, if you were 2orking, avoided the score and sat down. Then at the corner of my eye, I see your info. Now Dangle loses money because I didn't watch it. Thanks for that. Maybe put spoilers at the top and lower your stats 6 or 7 more lines!
Well, before was very laughable to pissed on Leaf fans. Now it's just like shitting on a dead horse and you don't know what is smelling the worst you own feces or the semll coming from the decomposing body of the horse. Now, It's have become no fun just pathetics. Just ask Bettman to give an ultimatum to MLSE to sold the team to Québec City and get a new franchise for Toronto. In Québec City, they don't care if the team are losers with a major Capital L they just want a NHL team. Instead of the return of the Nordiques we would have the Québec Suckdicks. But wait if the Leafs is sold to Québec City does that mean the 11 Stanley Cup won by the Toronto Maple Leafs betweeen 1927-1967 will be gone too. 13 if you add the Toronto Blue Shirts and the Toronto St-Pats cup too. It just too bad that Toronto Maple Leafs died in 1967 and have replaced by the corporate sell out since that day. How much time will it takes the new team to win 11 i.e. 13 (championships) cups again ? The Washington Capitals and the St-Louis Blues took almost 50 years to won 1 Stanley Cup. Dallas won 1 in 1999 Calgary won 1 in 1989 Carolina won 1 in 2006 Anaheim won 1 in 2007 Washington won 1 in 2018 St-Louis won 1 in 2019 Vegas won 1 in 2023 This new Toronto team with be with just another middle of the road team with no past (good or bad).
Bruins fan here, I could stand the leafs if their stars weren't insufferable and bland. I love marchand and loved Bergeron and Chara. Dude I even love Phil the thrill and others like Crosby. This team has NONE of that level of high end grit. Terrible to watch. No one in the core 4 should be making more money than brad marchand. Playoffs are where it counts, baby
Poor Steve was trying to stay hopeful after that Marner goal. The difference in his mood between the start of the game and the last 5 minutes was tragic. 😢
Steve is mentally ill. He been claiming for years that Leafs would win a series and they never have. Some kind of delusion disorder. It's kinda mean that they put him on display for us all to gawk at. Like a bear at the Russian circus
@@danbaseballstories from Toronto... They get never tired for dreams an stories! The kings area a tough contender! The bruin are beaten by the Oil in the regular season! They're top three scorer in the playoffs right now are McDavid with 9 points, Leon Draisaitl with 7 points and Zach Hyman with also 7 points. Stai in the playoffs is a beast - and Matthews? Marner? Having a great goalie score means nothing for the success of a team, it helps maybe but that's it. The really greater players are great in playoffs, but they need s depth on the team. I hope the Oilers this is year have the right to mixture... The leafs, so it seems, doesn't
Too bad those jackers last year didn't throw him and his car in the lake. The team would be better this year if he disappeared under the Ontarian waves
If all the Bruins fans got together, they could beat up all the Toronto fans no problem. The only thing that could save the Leafs fans is their lack of hygiene, might get the bostoners too sick
would what... win the stanley cup ...don't you just feel bad for all those hockey night columists who keep picking the leafs to win the cup every year... they never will.
About a quarter of the way through the series, Vegas as ranking the Leafs as having a high chance of winning the cup. I thought it would be a no brainer to make money betting against but who knows how the odds work out. The house isn't stupid and they'll protect themselves.
The CBC panel was absolutely hilarious after the game. They went on and on about how “Nylander was only gonna get better”, and “Matthews is gonna fight back.” They didn’t say one word about how good Boston was. Gave them zero credit. Didn’t talk about how bad Toronto was either. Just yapped about how they’re gonna be better next game. Smfh
WOW! DNVR Shoutout! Steve youre a huge inspiration everywhere. Rudo3, Nathan Rudolf you shouted out, is such a good dude and started organic like you and is now a key member of a big and growing local sports outfit. Thanks for doing what you do.
Im a Bruins fan, but always sucks to see a fan watch his team lose. Not hoping the Leafs win this series of course, but maybe next year if they arent against us.
One of the issues is that it is much easier to blow up an awful team than a pretty good one (regular season speaking). It takes a much stronger constitution and more intelligent analysis to diagnose and deconstruct this kind of team. With this kind of team, the coaches, staff and suits convince themselves that they are unlucky or very close to getting over the hump.
If they come back and force game 6 or 7 but still lose the coaches and above will say "well willy was out for the first 3 games and matthews was dealing with a stomach bug. We just got unlucky." Then run it back again.
The other issue is that they almost can't get rid of the guys they need to get rid of (Tavares, Willy or Marner). Nobody is going to want to take Tavares contract unless there's salary retention and I think the leafs way overpaid Willy and nobody is going to take that contract either. Basically means that the only guy they can move in the off season is Marner but I think they need to do it. They need to do something different. Tavares might be a guy the leafs can move at next years deadline though, if they retain salary
@@RockyMountain-cg4zv yep, you can want to trade players but there has to be a team willing to take that player. Who wants to touch Tavares or Marner's contract?
Bruins school the Leafs on how to play playoff hockey. Leafs dominated for two straight periods. Boston's excellent defense and forecheck too much for the Leafs to overcome. Leafs need to win three straight to have a chance. The series is over.
Issue with #1 goalie is the pickins are slim. Good luck finding a good goalie these days anymore. They are all taken. Plot Twist: Murray comes back tuesday and gets a shut out 😅
Im sorry, Steve, as a Canucks fan I feel your pain. I've been cheering for the Leafs as well. Let's hope they turn this around. Facing going down 3 games to 1 in the series, I was sure Keefe would pull the goalie on the powerplay and go 6 on 4, I was shocked when he didn't.
After watching the Leafs since 1968, I've concluded that the problem with the Leafs isn't the Leafs at all. It's the fans. They keep buying all the tickets no matter how poorly they play. If I wanted to buy season's passes today, and let's say no one waiting for them died or changed their mind, I would have to wait 250 years, according to the Bing A.I.
Matthews first game, he scored 4 against my dog awful Ottawa Senators & the leafs still lost 5-4. From that moment I knew that it wouldn’t matter how much he scores, leafs gonna leaf. I never could have imagined how true that would end up being. Kills me because I’m the type of guy that roots for any and all Canadian teams in the playoffs, so I hate em while they’re good and support em while they’re awful 😂
@@Waawaaweewaa_ We are different people but feel the exact same. Hoping one day both teams can be believably good so we can reignite the battle of Ontario when it matters.
Same guys, same results. I thought Matthews might find a playoff gear, he did not. I thought he might became the leader the team needs, he could not. What irks me is I can’t stand Marchand but he’s leading by example… on the scoresheet.
I’m just here to laugh at the last 20 minutes. So far, it hasn’t disappointed. lol Fourth line and third pair on the ice, Steve losing his mind. 👌 Edit: One minute later, fourth line on the ice again
Does this team play with any system, other than put the highest paid guys out and hope for the best? Bieksa nailed it when he said they play all year long carrying the puck over the blueline and in playoffs they dump and chase. Team needs some real coaching.
I was watching this game and I realized something, this was EASILY Mathew’s least productive game (imo) so far this series. I was commentating for my grandma and I don’t remember saying Austin’s name at all.
When boston had orr and played To who lost 4 straight. But it was one of the best series their was. Quinn nailing Bobby. Forbes Kennedy fought to death. These leafs now haven't got the guts. They did.
LMAO oh Steve if and when Leaf's win for you, boost all you want you will have earned it!!! i will never watch that video, but you deserve it. Go B's!!!
I’m so tired of the leafs, the fans wanna win more then then this team cares about winning. I watch the Florida Tampa game before this game and you can see the difference in players who want to win and players that could careless about coming out to win like this leafs team. Coach should be fired at this point and major changes because this core of players are not hungry to win the greatest prize in sports
The Leafs GM screwed up this past year - by not prioritizing and focusing on upgrading the entitled Leaf Core 4 $11 Million forwards. Just another Leaf Core 4 playoff disappointment. Why not start by moving Matthews to the wing where snipers are better used? 😀
@@ajjetsback1193 Sounds like a good start to a Core 4 upgrade. Matthews is weak at generating assists- snipers like Auston and OV belong on the wing. Why not buyout JT or trade him to NYR ASAP? Leafs record without Morgan is 8 wins versus 1 loss. Start sitting Morgan. 😀
Everyone wanted the Leafs to be tougher... Look at how they out hit the Bruins, maybe they should focus more on the game and less proving how tough they are. It came back to bite them tonight.
SPOILERS I Love Bob Cole. I have a question though. Was he a Toronto exclusive/Cup final exclusive? He called the Montreal Cup Win, in 93. He was there for at least a few, of the Oilers Cups. I do not Beleive he was the Man for Montreal's 86 win and he was definately there for Calgary's win, in 89. I'm from montreal, born on raised to 46. I remember 89 and boy did it hurt, so i was not lookinf forward to that part of the tribute but they left it out?? Same with any of Vancouver's , at least 7 fins in the final. If I was from those cities, (Ottawa included) Id feel a little sad. The announcers kept saying, he was the voice of Canada, etc. AND I THINK HE WAS. When Canada lost in 98, he made me feel better and that game against Hasek was crazy. Bob was there for Canada's redemption, in Salt Lake City 2002. When we finally did it. They played that clip, before or after a commercials break. I had the game PVRed. I almost typed JVR. Anyway, since I was skipping commercials, did I miss the Calgary, Vancouver or Ottawa big playoff wins? How about one of his most famous calls, from the 91 final? When Lemieux scored and we got a huge, Oh Baby! at the end. Please let me know if I missed them because I'm already feeling melancholy and although there were some amazing interviews, with Wayne and Sydney. It needed more. Also, the Leafs effort tonight was awful, in a game I would bet for a win. Boston played great but this was the night, where the should have done better, Cheers from Montreal Quebec Canada
