When I first got this I couldn't get it to jump my car. Last couple of times I did, though, it did the job. The times I got my car to start I hit the yellow button on the left. Don't know why it worked with the yellow button engaged but it did. Twice. I drive a 6-cylinder 2006 Chevy Impala.
I have had mine for 6 years. I use it mainly as a portable compressor. Saved me a couple of times. I am charging it as we speak. I never tried the jump starting part.
How do you charge it? uses a regular extension cord or a special charger? asking because I see one cheap on amazon but the charging cord is missing. Thank you.
I got one of these at the flea market for around $15 probably around 2016 or 2017. It used to work back then to top off my tires but I stopped using it because I moved houses and I could not find the charger. I randomly found it and I put this thing to charge but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna work 😂. The compressor gauge is stuck like at 15-20 psi, it doesn’t even go back down to zero for some reason. I don’t even think it’ll charge but the flashlight turns on. Honestly didn’t expect much from this since I bought it at a flea market, it was probably a defective return because they had many of them at the flea market at the time. I kind of want to take it apart but at the same time it’s probably just junk and I don’t wanna waste my time
If u had the FatMax Stanley charger fully charged.... ( I think u had it half charged, it showed only two red lights on,Not the green light on) u think it ll start? Ur V8? 🤔
Always go bigger. I would not recommend the Stanley Fatmax. I recommend the Gooloo jump packs I reviewed. If you are both patient and fast, you can wait for a Gooloo to go on sale and immediately order it that day as those sales seem to last only a day when they happen.
Your Stanley done better then my Stanley junk box mine is a 1200 amp one and it’s junk got it new a while back and thought u no all that stuff on it and big as it is it would be a Life saver But it not my battery in my truck died and I was kinda in a hurry so I thought will let try this jump starter it was charged up ready to go sp I hooked it up and by the way my truck is a small v8 Went to start it and it wouldn’t do nothing the starter just click so I thought it might Ben where it was a v8 but the box clearly says start up to v8 engines The compressor it works good but after 2 15 inch tires it would be dead I charged it up will was going to start my lawn mower up to move it Thought u no it will turn it over like nothing Will it didnt it crank it real slow Like a weak battery would I had to get the charger to charge the weak lawn mower battery But it wouldn’t crank it fast snuff so I had to use The battery I charged up and the jumper to get it to start and then it was dead again I’m disappointed in it Stanley could of done better
Heard that. I kept my Stanley in the trunk of the BMW with a false sense of security for a year or so until I got the Gooloo. Stanley is good enough for the wife's Neon, but now I know it will leave me stranded.
@@HollywoodHornet that good never can have a buff battery I was just disappointed in my Stanley I paid way up there for it when it was new and it would never jump a car it might would of helped if the battery was getting a little weak but when u did use it is would stay dead after that
I don't know what a 5 wheel is. Nor am I sure what you are trying to raise or lower. If you need to boost voltage and amperage in a DC 12 volt battery, this works as best as it can. If you are trying to do something else, no.
If you mean plug in a device via the USB and charge (laptop, cell phone, etc.) Yes. If you mean charge a car battery vs start a car battery (to an extent, yes). I.e. until the amps and volts of the dead battery equal the jump pack, then nothing happens once the two batteries equalize.
