Even after 20+ years, this scene is so powerful. Of all the regrets Stannis will have in life, the death of his brother will likely haunt him forever, and like iron he’ll break before he bends.
Great Job, keep em coming. If you do requests, can I either ask for one of four scenes: 1) A Game Of Thrones, the part with Varys and Eddard's last conversation in the Black Cells in King's Landing 2) A Clash Of Kings, Tyrion's Mud Gate Rally in the Blackwater Battle 3) A Storm Of Swords: Steel And Snow, Sandor Clegane's Trial by Combat with Beric Dondarrion 4) A Feast For Crows, Crow's Eyes Kingsmoot Speech ... pls 😀
the fact that stannis knows bits and pieces about renlys death is cool bc it fleshes out the magic used a bit more. since its stannis' shadow that kills him, via the shadow baby within mellisandre, it makes sense that while his true body tosses and turns in restless sleep that his nightmare is the reality of the killing. and that the magic allowed stannis to know htings about the assasination that he otherwise wouldn't. not trying to act like this is some crazy revelation i just thought it was a cool detail
Hey there! I just wanted to say I found this channel a couple days ago I already listened to the Jon legitimized and the Wyman manderly north remember speech and it was really great! I don't know if the music is along with the audio book or you added it in but I wanted to say I hope you keep up the good work and keep uploskg these! I've only ever watched the show but watching these have made me want to get the audio books badly! OH I also had a sorta request if you wouldn't mind trying to find it and record, I'd just love to hear the conversations between Tyrion and Jon Conn as well as with him and Aegon! I'd love to know what they said while playing the chess equivalent to whatever they were playing. Either way, take care!
You kind of have to play some rather loud music to avoid copyright strikes. These audiobooks sell for hundreds of dollars so ofc they have them taken down.
This scene cut from the show is why you know it was going to go bad: Stannis dreamed that he was there, killing Renly, in his dream. But he didn't intentionally do it, it was Melissandre. But he understood that he had had a part in it. Much more tragic than: lmao shadowbabyassassin lol. In the book he actually intended to fight the field and win, but Renly's death made it unnecessary to fight.
@@thepyromancer7590 DUDE LOL bro it’s make the scenes so much more better like omg I been listening to the audiobook but whenever I come to your clips I can feel that GOT feeling
