It's too bad the racing didn't work on the live Public Universe. I tried it a few times since racing is something I'm interested in, but the fps is so low that it eats inputs occasionally, and worse, the servers are so unstable that it simply doesn't detect flying through a checkpoint 15% of the time, making it impossible to finish a race in under 4-5 minutes.

Thanks! My sticks are coming this week and this is going to be what I do to develop the muscle memory. Do you ever have server problems where the gates dont log when you go through them? I have been flying it mouse and keyboard and it happens quite a bit.

Do you (should you) ever use decoupled mode for racing?
