Yeah, and with an org you guys can do it even better. Depending on the size of your org you can coordinate a large operation, like two or more reclaimers on-site with pilots and scrapers for each of them, one or two pilots dedicated to keep bringing the 890Js, and maybe one or two Hercules to transport the materials to the selling points so the Reclaimers can keep working non stop, and some fighter on site to keep security.
It won't work forever. "Insurance fraud" is already in the files, and CIG is working on a fix. They're talking about increasing claim times the more you claim.
I think the problem is not with selling price reduction and not in rare big ships. In 3.23.1 there are plenty to salvage. Yes, it's harder now without escort and working alone. You need to fly more. That's ok because previously prices was crazy. I completly understand the nerf and like current balance. What i don't like, is that they complitely broke cargo. Not all crates registering as before, and you just can't sell all cargo. Imagine that i bought very expensive(now) reclaimer ingame. Now i'm salvaging like several hours and can store all crates. Then i go to Orison and just cannot sell all my cargo. What's worse, it just dissapears from cargo bay. I mean all that checked cargo cells in terminal when you already sold everything. And this is not the thing that you just can't sell this on that location. All that cargo dissapear. And the same thing happening with other cargo ships. Either they complitly nerfed salvage and prices now it literally 10 times worse, or this is a bug.
I think there's a huge bug with cargo grid in general, I've also noticed the disappearing cargo from the Reclaimer, but when that happened with me (It was only one 8scu box btw) weirdly enough the material went back to the buffer, so I thought it was just a desync bug... Another problem I noticed with the Reclaimer's cargo grid was when you place a box you can't get it out again, like if you wanna rearrange them, I even tried with the bigger tractor beam but didn't work either. The "not been able to sell" problem, didn't happened with me, yet.
Can you put a contract package on the ship? Should give you a location. And, you should be able to jump straight to it no matter where you leave the ship.
@@FreakMouse maybe to a personal beacon then? I mean that would work if you have a person in party come to you wherever you leave the ship. It might make you have to prepare beforehand by bringing a small ship with you to Quantum Jump out.
I agree with you. An exploit is when you abuse a bug to take advantage of the game, but this is not a bug it's a feature. Everybody always abandons their ships, sometimes to get a fast TP back to base and then get a brand new ship from the "insurance company". If anything this could be classified as "insurance fraud", but since there are no insurance mechanics in the game yet besides claiming a new ship this is nothing besides myself using my ships the way I want to.
started to wonder when a video would come out lmao i figured i couldnt be the only one. but ive also spent $5000 on the game and thats not even a cap in the slightest. typically run the assassination contracts, so insurance fraud was right up my alley. although who ever said they were abusing the rentals and calling out as many as they could is an utter scumbag broke boy who is just trying to break shit and clog up the server. do it with one inject some cash for you to enjoy the other game loops and call it good.
me and my friend totally abused the free fly event and the free rentals, there's no limit on the amount of ships you can rent so i rented 20 hammerheads and then a lined few of them up in front of my friends reclaimer and just broke them down one after the other, you can set your respawn to the nearest hur or cru and when you deliver a ship - die - respawn in ya med bay get out another - rinse and repeat
Fortunately, I never had this problem selling RMC or CM neither on this patch nor the previous one. I always sell them in big cities and it's always smooth.
@@FreakMouse the prolem with RMC is since 3.23 everyone salvage or traid RMC because its the most profitable commodety even in a Vulture i have to serverhop to sell the RMC
@@DZealot The reason you cant sell anywhere is because everyone is doing the cargo dupe exploit with rmc so they're selling twice the amount they're supposed to be able to within 5 mins
In ERTs, I'd say the worst big ship you'll find is a redeemer. But most of the time it has a sub capital ship like a HH, 890J. Plus 3 other ships which are Connie's, 600is, caterpillars, starfarers and reclaimers. Plenty to scrape, but you will be attacked by pirates sonetimes. As far as ERT loot, quant, alcruciatoxin, neon, maze l, hadanite are all good auec. But in every other one I'll find 1 to 9 SCU of grasping weevil eggs and they pay a ton per scu. VHRTs are without sub capital ships so they're actually harder than ERTs and give less high value loot. But nothing you have to sell at a scrapyard.
I can just see it now, all the servers, 890s, Hammerheads, Starfarers, Reclaimers, all leaving the hangers to clutter the verse with ship litter. Those little pieces that stick around after you scrap a ship. Mix this with duping mechanics, and you'll be 3.22 rich in no time. Finally got a way to replace the ships CIG disappeared from my ASOP with 3.23. 😂🎉😅
Just do ERTs for 890s and hammer heads... and salvage those ships and steel the drugs from them as a mega plus... lazy gamers.... me and a team of 3 make milllllions doing this
Well as you said, you and your team of 3 players... I play alone, also, I make about 2.5 mil doing this and don't need to split with anyone. But most important of all, I enjoy playing my way. Your play style is YOURS, which means that not everyone will and have to enjoy it the same way.

This feels like a direct exploitation of gameplay mechanics that relies on the in game insurance to just give you another ship when your is destroyed. I guess if you can't just play the game the way it's intended this is a method that works. Although I'm pretty sure things like this will be frowned upon once the game releases.
Always someone trying to cheese their way to millions. These are the same people who whine when they wipe everyone's money because of exploits like this...gratz!
Well they wiped everyone's money last patch, but intead of whining I spent my entire fortune buying every single ship available in game and donated another 100 mil helping other players getting their dream ships... Now I have every ship I wanted, and I'm on my way up to riches again... So I don't know about you, but I have nothing to whine about.
