Star Citizen 3.24 NEEDS HOT FIXES 

Congratulations to CIG on delivering a patch that has an even more annoying audio bug than anything we’ve ever encountered.

I can confirm the hotfix did not fix broken hangars.

It's been a day, and I still can't get any cargo to spawn for my first hauling mission.

The bleeding out audio can be turned off if you ready your medgun, then use the inventory UI to store it in your armor or back pack. Open exterior doors hotkey and interactives only work from the pilot seat. It isn't hangar doors that open and close faster. It is the ship elevators that lift and lower faster.

cant wait for a patch i cant get cargo to spawn for the cargo missions. hopefully they will fix the issue

Started off ok, now I can't get to my ships.

3.24 needs developera that actually want to release a quality patch and not just make patch number go up and out the door.

I can feel erads frustrations through my screen. Yes my young padawan, let the hate flow through you. Right after 3.24.1 I got hit with the ship hanger bug where the ship kiosk doesn't spawn anything. Now I'm getting a launcher error. It won't even let me verify files. It's settings json not found. That's it. No code🤷‍♂️ this just hasn't been my week with this game.

Hauling contracts still not working, cargo doesn't appear in your storage so you can't pick it up.

I sense trouble over from within CIG. Uh oh…. Looks like karma

They don't do hot fixes. They only add more features.

3.24 needed to cook longer but CIG needs to move on to making the new cinematic trailers for the next line of new ships.

Amazingly it seems even more laggy and buggy than the mess it was in two years ago. I was under the impression that patches were supposed to improve the game state and move it closer to a release candidate. Call me crazy but It almost seems like they are deliberately prolonging SC's release. So we'll leave it another year or two and maybe just maybe they'll get their streaming, meshing servers and all the partially functional services working by then. Although after the last 4 years of SC development - watching paint dry seems the more exciting and enjoyable option.

There needs to be a way to move all our inventory (armor, guns) to our ships. There needs to be an option from the hanger menu, that lets you transfer to ship instead of warehouse, and charge a fee. I do not have the time to transfer 200 guns to my ship, then to Everest Harbor, all because the game can't save the location of my items through a patch. CIG please fix this, make a workaround for your issue, thanks.

Honestly... having a cargo patch and not even being able to stack stuff is just bad.... and yes, stacking is both in and out of storage.... and if there is one thing CIG is REALLY bad at, it is elevators... and for some reason they LOVE elevators even if they are broken AF... half of the vehicles I retrieved with the elevator came out of with their landing gear up... that woud be... up in the air. like WHAT?!? The ships lay on their backs... The cargo elevator UI is clunky as hell. Since there have been no item wipe for ages I have A LOT of stuff... and it has a limited the scroll and no pagination which means that I could not find what I was looking for... even if I used the filters... which did not work great either... and using the search proved to be useless as well since it seems as if they have decided that you need to do a full match which makes it pretty much... well... what I said... uselsess... I pulled out a bunch of missiles and realized that they did not come up in the nice stacks the pictures showed, but 1 missile per cargo elevator grid... wonderful... and when I tried getting weapons and addons and some food they all came up individually, which meant I had to pick them up individually... it was crazy... and not in a good way... I could probably summarize my 3.24 like this Log in. Get to my hangar. Become gobsmacked and boggled about how tedious everything was. Realized that watching paint drying was probably more interresting than doing this. Logged off. A hotfix won't fix this. The big problem is that CIG slaps new stuff on a really shaky and bad foundation... I sometime wonder if CIG intentionally brainstorm the worst solutions they can imagine, smash them with a hammer for good measure and then implement them on top of that shaky foundation... they really need to fix the foundation before putting more crap on top of it.

Can confirm that several hours later I'm having issues with the armistice zones working backwards for me (and going by the general chat on the server it was that way for a few others too)

3.24 has been a bit mixed. OTOH, progress. And it's really cool to see all of my vehicles parked together off to the side of my hangar after having applied all their paints without having to fly my C2 out to an Outpost to collect them all. But... looting is a pain. You can't do it from your ships cargo grid because you can't interact with snapped guns when you have a box open. And you have to strip and drop all the armour from NPCs onto the ground before you open the cargo box. And if you get scanned by security, when they finish, your ship is immediately transported into the station and you're left in EVA. It's a WIP.

At least you can play. My hangar elevator is bugged and will not bring up ships.

I should start making a list of hotfixes that Star Citizen needs in the past 10 years of being in Alpha. We got some kids here who were born damn near playing it and will likely graduate from high school and game will still be in alpha.

not a fan of this patch, the biggest change I've noticed is now it take a lot longer and is even more awkward to get your swag off planet from your start location, the hangars are way too buggy with stuff disappearing off the freight elevators, and when I finally got stuff packed into boxes that I had to get from the orbital station after take off the ship flew off with all my swag while I plunged back to babbage from the upper atmosphere never to see my swag ever again... I hope no one got hit by the unguided missile that my ship transitioned to after ejecting me into the upper atmosphere... cargo stuff is one thing but it was a mistake to screw around with the personal storage, it just sucks time from the fun stuff towards the boring stuff..

Lots of issues, as you'd expect. I played way more than two hours and lost 2x24 scu crates on the elevator, I couldn't even do a regular hauling mission, because the mission crates aren't in the warehouse at spacestation. On the plus side, missiongivers seem to be working again. Game also loads quicker and crashes faster than before. >>EDIT: I'm downloading an update, hopefully some stuff is fixed now.

Def need accurate hot fixes. After installing the update I couldnt get out of my hab and had to change servers to get out. Grabbed a Hauling mission and had to get Quartz from Port Tressler and it would not show up in Freight elevator. Grabbed a Delivery mission for one box and got the box, had a server error and lost the contract so now i have a box i cant get rid of. I think ill come back around 4.0 this is utter crap.

Its always cool when you can fly into somewhere with others. It used to happen a lot back when trading around PO and local outposts.

I'm sick of losing my credit bought ships. Lost Carrack and Reclaimer last two patches. Kinda lost the interest to buy more big ships until persistence takes a better step. Really kills motivation to play unless there's a group to join.

F8c won. Golden ticket event reinstated until sept 30. Cig has a notice on their site.

Yous got problems w spawning cargo, meanwhile us medium hangar ppl in Orison are completely fucked, cant spawn a ship, cant go to hangar, cant spawn a ship in someone else’s hangar XD

So is tractor beam in the c1 broken ? I haven’t been able to figure out how to use it

Not even gonna bother with it... i havent been playing for a while... its just a buggy mess ALL the time. Amd we keep pouring money into 'the dream'.... sucks.

I'm not losing hope yet, but seeing this new green skybox makes me want to vomit. We are in Star Citizen and not Starfield or Subnautica. I have the feeling that quality standards continue to decline.

Worst patch ever.

I'm Gutted :( I have a nice long weekend on the patch drop - spent 2 full days trying to make the game work - Honestly I had a about 40 Crash to Desktops - all in Hangers - took 2 hours to take off and when I did was perfect - did some ERT's and when landing back in Extra Large Hanger Crashed over and over and over again - running an RTX 4090 with 64GB RAM. It's basically unplayable :(
