You can, indeed, fit a 16 SCU container through the reclaimer "poop chute". I didn't even know this existed prior to a couple days ago, where I watched a tips video showing someone using it to toss all their crates out the back. Dramatically reduces unload times, compared to using the cargo elevator
If you use 8scu containers instead of 16scu you’ll have a faster unload by throwing them out instead of fighting it so hard but I use 4scu and throw them out just takes a tab bit longer to unload
Yeh it's not very good also the speed it drops it a bit silly. Like the issue with the reclaimer is things get in but can't get out the lift is too short the doors are too low
@the5star and for anyone else - for the speed limiter bypass for right now till they fix the other yes/no option is go to settings > keybindings > Flight - Movement > scroll down to Speed Limiter - On / Off (Hold / Toggle) and set a keybind or joystick button to this for bypassing having to Left Alt + Scroll wheel to increasing the speed limiter.
The panels are there. Once you see the marker, change to the multiple point markers, once you pass about 2.5 distance, slow to about 75 fps, and wait for them to appear. May have to reverse through the area. They show up after a minute or so.
One of the heavies in a bunker I did on MT had an Animus launcher. Actually happened on two missions, with my ship getting hit with a missile while landing on one mission, and another... The heavy and a dude in Artemis were dead inside by the elevator (at the top) with an animus laying there. Haven't seen it on every mission, but they can have them so beware.
@@the5starx Yep. I've only seen it twice, but recovered the animus from a dead NPC both times. These were on "Defend/Protect" missions where I could land the ship fairly close to the bunker. Couldn't figure out what had locked me until I found that launcher. No Players around, just the NPCs.
@@the5starx Yeah. First bunker I did on MT where there were external AI was a protect/defend. I was coming in for a landing right in front of the entry ramp before I realized there were AI outside, and I got locked. NPC fired an Animus at me, doing significant damage. It was a 9 Tail heavy. Second mission, same type, I came in, got locked, then the lock went away. When I knocked out the external targets and headed in to finish up, there was a Heavy and Artemis armor 9tail dead inside at the top. There was an animus there, so apparently... The AI tried to fire it at me from inside and killed themselves with the splash.
16 scu crates will fit out the back elevator, its actually the fastest way to do it by far. you have to be very precise to fit them from the top room but stack them lengthwise on top of each other and they will glitch out of the ship onto the ground. 8 scu are easier but take a lot longer to empty the buffer. to get the last crates out of the rear elevator once youre done just put a tiny bit of upward throttle and they will fall out. if you park your reclaimer against the wall with the ass end directly over the floor in front of the freight elevator you barely have to move them to stack them.
I haven't really played much since 3.18 and last citcon nor paid attention to SC to pratice patience. WOW SO MUCH HAS CHANGED. I'm going to have to get on and check out the new MFDs and everything
I do some testing from time to time and keep up with changes, but I really appreciate your comprehensive approach, I always find something I missed or wondered about (like the velocity settings on the MFDs, or vulture making fuses). I really hope they fix the speed limiter thing, it was really annoying.
I have "increase speed limiter" bound to the same key as "boost". I also have "increase walk speed" bound to W, and "Set pip to Lag" bound to "Flight Ready"
Overheating is one hundred percent possible.I've done it as well as a few other people.. Coolers are now probably more important than the power planet itself.😅 So after doing the number crunching for the corsair, it didn't really get nerft... Because of the increase in speed on weapons fire... You actually have almost the same amount of d p s with four guns that you had with six.😊 For the salvaging panels, the big thing you forgot to point out was the fact that they now appear from 1-2 clicks out. They are much easier to find with that. They also nerfed how much you make off ofRCM down to 12.8k
Hostiles spawning on the surface of bunkers was already in live for a little while now, some planets and moons they don't spawn because of harsh weather/no atmosphere, I'm at Microtech and been noticing them spawn up there most every wave, only did a few Hurston missions so cant really say if they spawn there or not, and not sure about the other planets.
I've been playing since wave one so, no. However, Yela has bunker surface NPCs. Also, you can select targets from the radar display now. Which means you can actually fly with a RIO for combat missions. 🤗
It's still way more obnoxious to finagle anything bigger than an 8 through it than it needs to be. Reclaimer would be better served with just a hatch straight out the back instead of the little pooper scooper chute. It might actually make it able to _load_ things more easily as well.
@@KiithnarasAshaa never had an issue, lay it flat slam it to the back and drop it. I haven't tested it in any .24 patch but I'll take a look at it after .2 lets me in.
@@roberthoffman7130 That's one of my regular suggestions for the reclaimer, replacing the balcony with an open loft for proper storage with grids instead of improvised storage. Removing the useless and intrusive decorative hooks and winches and cranes would be amazing while they're at it.
The changes to orbital markers are a blessing. Also they took the time to add extinguishers and fuses to every ship but not to add internal storage to legacy ships? What a joke
butt door has been a thing. 16s will go out but normally its easier to just shove a bunch in there and they'll kinda glitch through except the last 2 then you close it and they fall.
There is one more shadow patch that I noticed - the interaction prompt to get into the Cutlass pilot seats is no longer reversed. Must have been fixed as part of the MFD pass.
I clicked on this determined to not subscribe to anither SC channel. But damnit your content, presentation, abd vidual story telling is too damn good. Subbed.
I'm hoping the 400i flies more like an Origin ship and less like a Drake once 3.24.2 goes live. But I'm going to be spending some time playing with the Zeus ES.
Connie Table :O What do you mean with new Mining UI? Thats the old one we have since the Mining Update, two patches ago. (btw the keybinding hints in the lower right tells you how to switch mining mode. Took me 20 seconds or so)
