I took it out with some peeps and it felt like flying the Republic Gunships from Attack of the Clones with all the door guns manned.... crazy fun doing both space bounties and the entrenched bounties around Hurston. I hope they keep it that way lol

Speaking of tanky ships the Hull C now has 405,900 HP, (and 200,000 shields), making it the highest hp flyable ship in the game.

That's total hp, keep that in mind. It's counting all the spindly bits, breakable pieces etc. Looking at body hp alone, it has 60k hp in its "vital" areas meaning that's what makes you explode when zero. Hammerhead comes out on top with 160k ( divided in two vital sections) for 80k damage needed minimum to make it explode. Still a very welcome change for the hull C

Or hear me out; they could have sold it at a SC subjective “reasonable” price for a cutty… then raised it when maelstrom comes and it deserved it

I got one when it came out and it was way too fragile for a dropship. That roof mounted gatling at Jump Town tore it apart before I could land it was so comically bad. It's ~150$ cheaper than the Valkyrie was at the time. I'll have to refit mine to laser cannons and see how it does now since laser repeaters and ballistics got nerfed.

I suspect they are going to added HP the valk. That is the only logical choice to make it worth THAT price tag.

Terrapin isn't a drop ship, it's a reconnaissance ship, meant to fly out in front of the fleet and scan for potential threats or other things.

I got mine for invictus and its totally worth actually even more when you use it at distribution centers and drop some people, it can take some punishment and live to tell. It was one of my favorite ones but it was useless before not it rocks!

I saw this a couple of days ago and i knew ppl will shit on cig for this 😂 dropships should be beefier in general for even slightly better worth it. But all of them are way to expensive. So no ty.
