good video, i'm unsure on the new environments & backgrounds; the lighting in some scenes is way too overdone and the spacing of the original seems lost with the new perspective. But i'm excited to see what Square does with this.
The pixel art in the remaster seems a bit hard to understand in comparison to the original but I'm guessing playing this with a big screen won't be a problem.
This youtuber was using the demo as a reference though. Everyone knows that there are always differences and changes between a demo and the actual full version of the game. For example Nede and other areas that are only available in the full version couldn't be shown. If you actually want to have a valid opinion of this game I'd advise you to look at some footage of the full version instead of just some snippets of the demo
Oh! No wonder I don't remember this part of the story, I just realized that I picked Reina as my main storyline. This is wonderful, I'd definitely try the demo and a must buy regardless.
Most people are saying these Pixel sprites are done justice compared to other games because of the non-smoothing they chose NOT to implement like other pixel based games. Grandia Remaster comes to mind. Also the sprites are able to be displayed in full detail as the original you would lose that because of how small they appear and combined with older resolutions/ the psp, ps1 back end. I must say it actually is really cool once you play the demo and see how they cast their own shadows and shadows also affect the sprites... So it was definitely a purposeful design choice and i think they tried multiple techniques at Gemdrops. They didnt just half ass this and its fine if you think they should of chose other methods but maybe given the game is Unity we can explore options with mods.
The among of braindead hate comments in this kind of videos is insane. I wonder what obsession some people have with complaining about any game even if what they say doesn't make sense or is false, even remakes of games they probably haven't played or weren't interested in. They just come to complain and that's it.
Just played the demo and I don't feel that the characters fit in the 3d world at all. It works better on octopath traveller because of how the 3d world is created to fit.
@@BecauseBecauseoh man. You must be on the younger side. This is how a lot of games looked back then. I think it’s a perfect interpretation of the other side of the coin of RPG‘s from this era. Only obviously with much better graphics
It would've been realistic if you actually used the actual game instead of the demo as a reference and comparison. There's always a few changes between the demo and the full game. Your video is actually pretty much useless. I'm not trying to be rude or anything I'm simply stating the truth
@XXtheJUMPoffXX I don't remember everything anymore you can inform yourself about this. But the things I remember is that you get to see more places/can roam around freely have more characters for the assault action system. I don't remember much of the demo since it was pretty short. You could only play 3 hours and they were gone by an instant. If you really want to know what the game is like you'll have to inform yourself about it which is not that difficult
@XXtheJUMPoffXX Because it only showed footage of a 3 hour long demo where only the starting area of the game were available. The demo was just a tiny snippet of the actual game. And again you could've informed yourself about the differences between the full version and the demo. I'm not your secretary that I have to find some proof for you
@@kaneki18-d1t4 It’s just a quick graphics comparison so what’s the difference if it’s the demo or the full game? You don’t even remember the differences yourself so why call this video useless in the first place? It does the job
