STAR TREK 4 New Teaser 2024 is FINALLY Here...
Get ready for Star Trek 4! While separate from other projects like the Section 31 spin-off and a prequel by Toby Haynes, Star Trek 4 promises to thrill fans. Paramount debates between continuing the Kelvin Timeline or rebooting the franchise. Although Chris Pine and the cast are eager to return, the studio's direction remains uncertain.

I personally hope they would find a way to reset the movie series to erase the Kelvin timeline and go back to the original series history but retain the cast with Chris Pine. If they were to come up with a movie that did that using the original cast, restoring Vulcan, etc., I think that would be fantastic.

Ok How Will that Even work? We already know Most of the story on the Prime Universe we are on A time where the hot topic is the Multiverse. We already got a Trek that took place on The Prime Universe which is SNW so It ain't bad for another star trek from another different Universe.

@@VoidKai355 easy, just write and film a story in the TOS universe with tos crew and ship, could even be another ship, but the crux of the show was the adventures and relationship of the 3 main characters so continuing that would be great. The characters don’t need to be reintroduced, everyone knows them and if not the backstory is easy to find, just like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

Pine and his crew are really good casting. I really do like them - but the story writing wasn't always great. I'd like to see them all again. I wouldn't mind the Pine/Hemsworth Kirk story. I think it could be really good. I'd be happy with just one more good Trek movie. Just one, before this world apparently comes to an end...

in the klevin timeline he had an twin sibling. that has nearly the same skills and behavior also accent of his voice. let him or her be female or male, that's up to them and the fans to replace him. must not be some lookalike actor. but trying to have nearly the same Russian accent that runs in his Familie is more important.. i think the fans know what is happening and go with it..... the important think would be a female or male sibling cast is the question because of the fans and voice lines accent. if the plan with a female let her be like some well known female space marine from alien2 "did someone hold you for an man? badass meme.

Trying too hard with DEI at the cost of the writing and casting. Look how fabricated it looks next to say, The Expanse. That had a very diverse cast, but you didn't notice, because it felt natural owing to the writing. The nonsense woke narrative of Discovery has turned most people of.....because it's shite. You probably enjoyed The Acolyte, too! 🤣🤣🤣

I love the new Kelvin cast, however, we have to face it. They're all huge now and too expensive. What needs to happen is ending the Kelvin timeline and returning one crucial character to the Prime timeline: David Marcus. He's a legit link to TOS, legit link to William Shatner's Kirk, ripe for a continued storyline. And I'd love to see, if Shatner was up to it, some re-entry of David to Kirk's life. Kirk deserved a better ending.

@sqoody7invegas625 I've never had a wrong opinion in all my life. If I say that STD is a nasty disease, then that's exactly what it is. Besides that, Alex Kurtzman thought the show was a mistake, and it's his show. His "fix" was to have the Discovery crew sent over 900 years into the future. As far as I'm concerned, it was still a turd, but futuristic. When he tried to tone down the garbage for the 5th season, the show was actually not very bad. I kinda like season 5. But overall, the show was straight garbage, an STD.

Since hearing about the idea of a time-travel story to have both George and James Kirk interact, I felt excited for the idea of what James missed since in both the 2009 film and "Beyond" he states he feels like he's living in the shadow of a man he never knew. There are so many directions this could go with either George being pulled from 2233 to 226X and hearing what James had done or Kirk and a couple of his officers encountering George before the Narada. If they continue with the Kelvin timeline then they don't necessarily need to recast Chekov, but could had an in-dialogue explanation for his absence (transfer, killed off-screen) with someone else taking his place. The SGA finale refereneced the death of one of the characters (Gen. George Hammond) by stating the actor's real-life death, if they continued the timeline they could do something similar

Ok in The Wrath of Kahn. Kirk was depressed about being an Admiral in his 50's and not out there as captain of a ship. Wrath of Kahn was 15 years and in the movie Kirk even says that ita been 15 years since he has seen Kahn. 2009 to 2024 is 15 years. So did Kelvin timeline Kirk become an admiral and be depressed that he's in his 50's now? It could be very interesting to go down this route. Pine's Kirk is older and wiser now. Checov could have been killed off screen a few years ago since it's a new timeline. I wonder if the Whale probe comes to Earth in the Kelvin timeline?

Important notice for the movie kelvin timeline writerroom writers: if some vulcan Wikipedia writer/lore writer is reading this, let me warn you about vulcans nature that would not work now in kelvin timeline, yes, i am talking about their 7 years cycle of their Pon Far.. because they are now so few this 7 years urge is contra-productive to keep "trueblood" vuclans out there. perhaps this problem could be used for an "evil Vulcan" for an film. but then it sounds just like the new kelvin timeline Khan just as vulcan race.. because of this 7 years pon far "Mate or death" solution. (they invent this side effects of it) i already can see how villians hunt for true blood vulcans... or at last want to take advance from it. so, if they plan to make more movies in the kelvin timeline, they should defuse this 7 years bomb for the vulcans. how did tuvok suppressed it this years on the voyager in the delta quadrant anyway? there they invent this mind illness to avoid bring this up?.. Well, sort this pon far problem out and the vulcans can life a bit peacefully in the kelvin timeline there, without becoming villains in rage or victims of extinctions powers, because strong vulcan houses saved the true bloods for themselves... also internal vulcan conflicts problems arise... do we really want to see our spock marry some female vulcan that he do not love at all to save his race? or many Star Trek movies with R18 including vulcans now is not because of gore ratings. defuse this pon far Bomb first for Kelvin Timeline... or they are everytime victims of extinction of trueblood vulcans hunters...but perhaps this PonFar Bomb should be defused anyway, it feels now out of time and out of place

Do you not realize that Gene Roddenberry's entire concept for Star Trek and how it played out on screen in nearly every iteration was that the whole point of it was to be "woke"? Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations otherwise known as the Vulcan concept IDIC. If you have a problem with the whole concept in Star Trek then you have a problem with Star Trek itself. Wokeness is literally the entire core point of Star Trek. That said I do agree with you about JJ Abrams vision of Star Trek. It's pretty sloppy with its in Universe rules. Star Trek has always played a little loose with this but Abrams really kind of crossed the line on many points. However, so-called wokeness was one thing that he pretty much got correct lining it up pretty well with what has come before in that area in the franchise.

infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations means that every choice no matter how big or small (and thus every different reality) that could ever be made throughout the universe, is in fact made in some other reality- universe what have you. Wokeness is just poison wherever it appears. Wokeness ISN'T Diversity. It's shorthand for equity, which in turn is the whole ideology of communism rolled up into a four letter word. Gene Roddenberry absolutely achieved a diverse show without the toxicity of wokeness. Uhura didn't complain about the patriarchy or feel it was necessary to tear Sulu or McCoy down to move up. She started out in her first episode as a Lt and finished ST 6 as a Lt. Commander by Merit. And merit alone.

Yes people want Star Trek, but not Jar Jar or Kurtzman garbage. There is only one Kirk, Spock and the rest and they are the TOS crew. I'm so sick of them trying to "reimagine" these beloved characters, we saw what they did to Spock and it made me sick! The problem with these hacks is they are trying to reinvent the wheel, but there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. The more they go backward, the more damage they do to the cannon and lore Gene Roddenberry created. Why can't they just pick up where Voyage left off and try going forward for a change? The answer is that at that point humanity had already overcome all the "modern" issues these simpletons like to cram down our throats and they can't deal with it. It also doesn't help that they have no creativity anymore, so until Skydance cleans house the only Star Trek left is, Star Trek:The Search For Fans.

Enough of the reboots. You are just retelling a story that has been told. You are showing audiences that you cannot have a fresh idea but to augment and copy others. If you want a reboot.
