Worf can be a great comedy straight man when they use him right. So I don't see it as at his expense.

@@nunya3163 Technically they *are* what I said. They all have three pips (Worf might only be a Lt. Commander at this point, but he's XO of the USS Defiant so the point stands). Once again, like at Veridian III, they simply were less competent than their rank suggests.

And the use of the shuttle against Data is because a good shuttle can outmaneuver the Enterprise at sublight speeds.

The weapons should be able to disable it pretty easy.. size has only ever had issues when plot determined

Apparently it had a Klingon presence back in the day. ENT retconned it as being the site of the battle that Kor was playing on the holosuite in his first DS9 episode. That could help explain why Starfleet has been tiptoeing around it, at least until recently, but it should also make them experienced at keeping it under surveillance.

Are you using headphones? It seems the issue happens when people watch from roku or television and when I adjust it messes up head phones

My question is what happened with said relationship between Worf and Deanna? It seemed to be quite well at the end of TNG.

@@decimation9780 They never addressed it on screen but obviously, Worf went to DS9... so that meant they must've broke it off.

@@MedalionDS9 I’m aware of that, I watched the entirety of DS9. But it wasn’t addressed there, like at all. No mention of Deanna Troi either if I remember correctly. But I also know that DS9, at least when Worf finally arrives, that either several years had passed, or he was there temporarily. Because in an episode of TNG, either Picard or Riker comments of Worf being at DS9, so either DS9 takes place between seasons of TNG, or it takes place during and after the events of TNG.

@@decimation9780 Season 6 of TNG coincides with season 1 of DS9. This is why The Maquis 2 parter in DS9 can confuse people who watch all of TNG first before watching DS9, as Preemptive Strike in S7 is specifically referring to established lore from DS9. Worf being on DS9 happens in the Season 6 episodes, Birthright parts 1 and 2. Specifically, when a Yridian on DS9 transports Worf to a Romulan prison planet where Klingons captured during the Khitomer Massacre are held. Quark makes a cameo appearance in the TNG episode, First Born, as Riker asks him for information about the Duras Sisters who were on DS9 for business with the Pakleds, iirc. The Duras Sisters did appear in the Season 1 episode of DS9, Past Prologue. Anyway... Generations takes place sometime during or after S3 DS9, which is why Sisko refers to the Enterprise in past tense during Way of the Warrior. It's worth mentioning that Season 1 Voyager also coincides with Season 3 DS9. It's worth noting that Gul Evek, who chased Chakotay into the Badlands appears at first in DS9 S2 Playing God, where he's contacted for advice on how to get rid of an infestation of Cardassian voles. He then reappears in TNG S7 Journey's End, where he's the Gul responsible for taking control of the planet with the American-Indians are living. He makes a few more appearances in TNG and DS9 before his last appearance in Voyager, leading to his ship being damaged in the Badlands, possibly even paying a trip to the Delta Quadrant, if The Voyager Conspiracy is to be believed, that the Caretaker's Array did indeed bring a Galor Class ship to the Delta Quadrant before sending it back. I got carried away.

The idea of the singing is to get Data's memory going. And it works better if it is sang by familiar voices? What makes me hate Insurrection is that it wants me to sympathize with the hippies who found the Fountain of Youth, decided to keep it all for themselves and lecture everyone about how much better their life without technology is, which they can only live because they have the Fountain of Youth.

@@schwarzerritter5724 I get the in-universe reason for it as you said but the execution of the idea was badly out of place and didn't fit. I agree with your 2nd point in so far as these people knew the dangers of depending too much on technology and since they found themselves on a planet that was basically Federation territory then as a good will gesture to let them stay there then it would have been best if they made 1st Contact with the Federation instead of finding themselves in a situation as seen in the film.

@@schwarzerritter5724 The novelization explains a lot of the backstory of the Baku and why the Son'a are out to get them, but then, novels aren't canon so your left with canon-sized holes in the plot. Also, the stuff they cut out of the movie explained some things as well, but that's what Blu-ray extras are for, I suppose.
