Summery
Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge and an old friend Lt. Cmdr. Susanna Leijten
fight to defeat a parasite that is trying to transform them into another species.

I haven't been too well again this week but, managed to get this one done, sorry you had to wait.

I remember this episode from when I was a kid; haven't seen it in years. Did you get a copy strike from CBS?

Yes I did for the Gorgdi in a big blue sock scene, not sure whether to redo it and if that will be hit as well. I do have a longer edit that I could pick different moments from, hard to know what to do next. 🤨🤨😐😐

@@DarMokChannel That's too bad. I really appreciate the hard work you put into sharing these clips; I wish CBS would be as appreciative of it as well. If anything, you're doing them a service, at no cost to them. CBS's behavior toward Trek fans is maddening.

Checked it earlier and it's not a strike but was band Worldwide until I blanked out that scene. I agree with your comments on CBS, Trek has never been the same since they took over. It's Maddening. Thanks for your kind words I am looking at Patrion to help support the Channel.

This is the episode that scared the hell out of me as a kid in first-run on KNTV 11 Santa Clara. Other borderline Millennials/Gen-Xers were terrified by Remmick’s head exploding in “Conspiracy”, but what fragments of Braga’s original treatment with the psychological horror of all of these creatures lurking around every corner had a far greater impact. The UV light effects still hold up. CGI could replicate these results, but not with the same texture that natural movement and mass add to a scene using practical effects.
