In this video we begin a Re-Do of Star Trek The Next Generation A Final Unity Walkthrough.
I wasn't happy with the previous playthrough and my save file was lost!
The aim is to complete every objective this time, hopefully this will help you if you’re new to the game.

You're supposed to follow the point-and-click gameplay protocol, take everything not nailed down, use literally every dialogue option, use every item on everything, and of course fire at Will.

I have the original CDROM. There are some websites that can help with getting it running on modern windows. Can't post links unfortunately as youtube don't like it 🖖

@@RetroBadgerGaming I used to have the original CD, way back when I had a Windows 95 PC that could play DOS games!! This is one of my all time favourite games, one that does Star Trek properly! Anyway I found a copy to download that seems to work.

😂oh gosh Captain.. Riker's face.. I could imagine you doing that lol...😨jeepers, when the Warbird de cloaked. I jumped.. Yes.. I never mentioned this before, Worf always stands and must be long hours.. hmm and Riker.. cause he said, he always had a bad knee in the show.. hence the weird stance he always did.. 😂Yes.. ever since that part.. every time I see Data, I think of that song..lol.. I sing the same when working on my car.. lol...but for the error not lifeforms lol.. 😁Well done Captain.. while talking to the scientist, thought Riker was going to order Worf to stun him lol. this was a great walkthrough.. and yes a bit complicated and taking notes is a good idea... again great video Captain.. and in one piece.. just saying!!! Engage!!! 😊🖖

I still have a copy of this game, boxed and complete. I will have to see how it runs on a modern gaming PC, just to see if the Pickard manouver is used.

29:04 If you’ll recall from the TNG Technical Manual, one of the indicators on the biobeds in Sickbay displays the patient’s remaining medical insurance. Obviously, Geordi doesn’t have any left, which is why the doctor knows not to use a medkit on him.

I remember seeing this game back when it came out. I never got it but had always been curious about it. This looks cool. Do you remember the game that came out based on Star Trek Generations where you able to use Riker and fire at Romulans on the Amergosa Observatory? The graphics for this game are actually not too bad at all. Looks better than the old Star Trek TOS games. :)

It's a really neat game. I remember buying it when I was 10, but my PC wouldn't run it. It had to run in Dos Mode. I switched to Dos Mode, but it didin't have any CD Drivers. That was beyond me back then. I know the solution now, but meh. The instruction book was neat to read though! As the deadmangaming says, definitely Star Trek Generations. I'm going to cover that someday! 🖖

Wow, that was so long ago. I forget almost everything except the object was to activate the Unity Device, but I forget what it does. I think I was still in high school when I played this. Same with the Original Series game. I remember messing up on an away mission and I got a redshirt killed 😄. I looked it up, the Unity Device appears to be similar to the Infinity stones... basically, 2 devices combine to form the "unity." Those two devices are the Infinitly Complex Utility (ICU) and the Temporary Weaponized Automated Transceiver (snicker) 😆😆. Yes, I think I'm funny... I couldn't help it. I love messing with acronyms. (A Criminal Regimen of Nasty Young Men 😀) I didn't make that up, that was Futurama.

Rats, I'll have to wait until part 2 to remember the end. I do remember that the Unity Device gives you the option of destroying the Borg fleet or showing them mercy.
