Or that time Kirk was subjected to Court Martial and Spock witnesses with total vulcan conviction that he knows Kirk so well he assures Kirk's nature is as unbreakable as the laws of physics.

This is my husband's first pairing that he still is head over heels for. The moment I started this video he started to read S/K poems to me. (Thank you for that because I love when he reads poems to me 😘.)

This may have fallen into the category of there being too many like it but I think an honorable mention should have gone to "The Empath" when Gem catches Spock watching over Kirk and gives him a knowing look. I think it's another great example of how much Spock cares for Kirk.

My personal favorite moment is in TheCity on the Edge of Forever. Even thought that episode mainly focus on Kirk’s budding romance with Edith, her line about Spock always being be Kirk’s side is very moving. She had only know for a short time, but already felt how strong their bond was even if she couldn’t understand why.

The elevator lift scene... Kirk is going crazy cus he thinks he’s losing control of the Enterprise and in his rage he end up right up against Spock, seriously their faces are right there. Then Kirk is just trying to figure out where to look once he snaps out if the trance...

My favorite thing ever in Discovery is that at the end of season 2, they just high key reference the Spirk relationship. Like, it's so prevalent that even before they meet people are aware of it.

I would have picked ”The Empath,” you know, the fantastic moment when Gem the Empath picks up on Spock's true feeling for Kirk. It's the best!

I think the best part about Turnabout Intruder is that there's a point where Spock just keeps holding Kirk in female love interests hand. Why doesn't he do that when Kirk's in his normal body? I have questions.

I just wanna know what the stage directions were for the fight in Amok Time, because that HAD to be intentional. There is no way they choreographed, rehearsed, filmed, and edited all of that without realizing how suggestive it looked

There's SO MUCH in This Side of Paradise though. When Kirk makes him angry, Spock knows what he's doing and pleads with him to stop, and then is deeply hurt when it works. It's amazingly intimate and emotional for such a small scene. And then at the end Spock tells her "I have a responsibility to this ship, to that man on the Bridge. I am what I am, Leila, and if there are self-made purgatories, then we all have to live in them. Mine can be no worse than someone else's." It's deep, painful longing!

When Spock's mind was stolen. Spock had a short time to have his brain put back in before his death and at the time Kirk had no idea where in the entire galaxy his brain went. But he went looking for it anyways.

Turnabout Intruder also has an extended hand-holding scene after Spock is convinced Kirk has been body-switched (as we know, very intimate for Vulcans).

When I started rewatching the series I was aware of the ship, but I wanted to decide for myself. A few episodes in I was Spirk all the way. The amount of touching!

What about when a silicon rock monster was going around killing everyone and Spock wanted to keep it alive for the sake of science. But the moment it got near Kirk, Spock began shouting "Kill it, kill it now!"

I love how the resolution to Amok Time made so little sense based on the rules for Pon farr they gave us that they had to basically retcon the entire concept later on.

Spock telling Kirk in the Ultimate Computer that computers make excellent servants but he has no wish to serve under one. And most importantly, that a ship relies on loyalty and no one can replace him. Sigh. He certainly declared himself for all to hear on the bridge. (It was even more blatant than the eye sex moment in Miri: "And I do want to return to the ship, Captain."

I’ve got a lot of moments floating around in my head, but the standout one is the moment in Turnabout Intruder when Spock and Jim (in Janice Lester’s body) hold hands.

That wasn't the end of shore leave, that was the start... Very importantly so, it was used to show that Kirk needs a vacation. Probably with Spock if he acts like this... But Bones and Spock both tell him he should go on shore leave and he refuses.

Okay, but as a baby shipper? That Sarak scene in number 2, and pretty much the entire movies extended character arcs, opened my mind to the possibilities of OT3.
