Two things I loved about Star Trek in the 90s - Captain Janeway and the Dominion War (on DS9). When she appeared as Admiral Janeway in Nemesis everybody in the theatre cheered. She was the high point of that movie.
@XCritonX Well sorry for not noticing the sarcasm. No I'm not a Eunuch. I'm just someone that supports equality and human rights. I feel that women should be treated the same way we men are treated. Some places women are still treated badly and get discriminated.
Picardo is the actor, not the character. I liked him myself, but to each his own opinion. Beckett, however, is not a character in Star Trek. That character was in Quantum Leap. The actor who played him, of course, was Scott Bakula, and the character name you're looking for is Archer.
@timster112 I admit some things about her annoys me but I still like Janeway even though maybe not much as I love Picard or Kirk. I like her as much I like Sisko and Archer.
Picard likes to talk his way through. Janeway likes to punch her way through. She doesn't need to straighten her uniform every time she stands. She is not a Sissy. -End-
Hehe. You're hilarious. I'm dying right here. Seriously, do your research. Voyager is named after the Voyager probes that actually ARE exploring the final frontier and--not at that time, but now--Voyager has gone farther than any other human made aircraft. I'd want my ship named after that.
Picardo is a terrible annoying character. I can't understand why people like him so much. And Janeway is the 2nd best captain, after Sisko. Followed by Picard, Kirk and ultimately Beckett.
@TheStarTreker I agree that in some situations woman are way better then us men. But I think they chose the wrong woman. Janeway annoys the crap out of me..
