I have such a strong attachment to POTF, I decided to go back and build my collection all over again. All the vehicles, figures and sets look great together. Best world-building line of all time.
I got am extensive kenner collection,I actually have the entire range ,some vehicles a number of times over,like 8 x wings amd tie fighters,no boxes though as I pkayed with them amd so did my sons,amd daughter,I customized two x wings with revel spray paint and decals to green 1 and 2,and also sprayed 2 tie fighters white and a black millennium falcon
Lak Sivrak's replacement, Ketwol ('Low Tek' backwards), has a really fun figure. He has really short, stumpy legs, and so, is actually standing on a pair of stilts. Yes, really. It's a feature I love. No mention of it on the pack, and a complete surprise when I found it by accident.
I love that you do these POTF2 Videos but they also make me want to recover the POTF2 figures I gave to my sister's kids a number of years ago because of the upgraded ones that were coming out...
Lak Sivrak is probably my most wanted remake for my cantina. I'd also love to have remakes of a lot of the other old, outdated and articulation-lacking cantina denizens like Labria, Djas Puhr, BoShek, the Duros and Wuher, of course. It really sucks these days being a fan of the 3.75 scale and the original films. Feels like all we ever get in that scale anymore is the occasional new character from whatever current Disney Star Wars show is out and "THE DEFINITIVE THIS TIME I SWEAR!11" main character slight retool. I really miss when we'd get brand new Ewoks, brand new Cantina members, brand new Jabba's Palce goons, random weird background characters like Ice Cream man and cool EU comic characters. I'm still waiting on the rest of the interesting Cantina aliens like Arleil, Tzizvvt, Reegesk, Braconner, the second Duros, the second Saurin, Danz Borin, Swilla Corey, Garouf and the spaceman Bossk. It really is strange that some of these figures, especially the ones that were in the original Kenner line, never got a remake. Honestly the new Skiff should have come with a new Pote because the old one barely fits behind the control console anyway.
Sadly, most visibly human characters with minor roles (e.g., Wuher the bartender and Boshek the space pilot) will likely never get new upgraded figures in the future because Disney does not want to address the legal and financial quagmire of actor likeness rights connected to anyone who never signed a proper contract back when the films were originally made.
I could see why Lucas digitally replaced some characters in the cantina...but I never got why he didn't replace Lak with a better digital version. It was actually annoying to not see the character and to see the tusked alien.
They can't redo those figures, they have to tweak Boba Fett, Jedi Luke, Vader and Stormtrooper for the 50th time. "Its the definitive VADER!" fans say...until the next one. Most of us have given up on seeing any old media unmade character in the retro line. They gave us two packed with board games, proving they really, really feed on fan misery.
Power of the force are my favorite over the original & the newer ones , they just look perfect for 90's action figures even though they are all super muscular!!!!
I think the POTF2 2-1B was rereleased in a Vintage Collection 3-pack, but it was the exact same figure not updated at all, similar to the B’Omarr Monk.
I'm sure glad I bought those POTF2 figures when they came out in 1995. I'm also lucky to have the Slave Leia and was able to get Carrie Fisher's autograph on it. It's a shame that Hasbro who later bought Kenner toys in 1998 just a year before the prequal trilogy. However, I'm glad they were able to release the action figures that haven't been released since Kenner launched the line from '78-85.
Damn. I consider myself to be a pretty damn solid SW fan, ans I never even noticed that there were Ishi Tibbs in 'Jedi's briefing scene. I feel humbled.
Shmi skywalker only have one figure from the power of the jedi. I don't know if exist another figure from this carácter. it is incomprehensible how the mother of the chosen one only have a figure from not a principal toy line of episode I and not exist a modelo for episode II being a carácter whit a relevant history and Rol in the franchise. I think it's a simple figure but underrated
That long snouted imperial spy was one of the first POTF figures I got..glad I've still got all my cantina aliens and Jabbas Denizens..they really make my display pop..
I have Garindan, too. Great figure, but not as good as his more articulated re-do, which has a minute, separate comlink that fits in his belt, rather than being moulded in his hand.

I bought every 1977 StarWars action figure new in 77. Unfortunalty never kept on the card but opened them and put them away. . I however saved the cards and never disturbed them since new.. Should I have these graded? In 45 years I opened the cases only 5 times. Mint unplayed condition w orig weapons.. BTW my cousin founded REMCO TOYS after WW2 and sold in the 60s.
As well as am extensive kenner star wars from the 80's collection,I got all that they released of the battle star galactica collection before it hit discontinued early for some reason,they were great to interact amd play with,im 44 with a smile in my face reminiscing here,I actually think I will take it all out today and set it all out for a display amd play,big 44 year old kid gonna be making "pew pew" noises all evening I think😂
I know everybody must ask is that guy Moonlighting in the Max Zebo band as its same sculpt of the Cantina Band Members to me? Those Leia figures for Ewok Village don't do her justice. Droids are the Real Snowflakes when it comes to Tooling. No Fooling as most others are basically generic other than hair or face I guess. That is really wrong he removed the Wolf Man as I just seen him on card in another thing. I don't really remember him though its been a while since I've seen them. I only have the untainted versions on VHS as friend kept the Empire Strikes Back DVD when gave me them. That X7 always been one of my favorite Droids. Jabba is not a bad guy he has a real Diverse Squad working for him even Music and Dancing ;). That Mon MOthra is built like a chess piece without real legs or feet in the POTF.
In any line...I gave up on the 3.75 inch lines! I wanted more when I realized after black series and marvel legends, that it was capable with more articulation and more opportunities for paint!!!! I never looked back!!!🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
That was very useful. I like the wolf man figure, I have the wolf man figure, I also rarely ever watch the special editions so I had no idea he'd been edited out! I am mildy cross at George Lucas, less wolfmen always make something lesser :D
You forgot Oola. I bought a Jabba the Hutt with the box this weekend so I decided I need an Oola for it. It seems she has never had a release beside the mail in version.
Actually i believe there is a chance we man get another figure of the wolfman species considering how often they showed up in clone wars a few times in rebels and even an arc in bad batch so it wont be that specific character but we may get one
Theres a stupid amount of ROTJ missing from Black Series. Nien Nunb, EV9D9, Ewoks, 8D8 and a crapton of palace monsters. Look at representation from Star Wars and Empire vs Jedi. Its silly.
Potf2 was awful. terrible packaging, no new articulation. Think about it, G.I.Joe's in the early 80s had more articulation than Star Wars in 1995, what the hell! This was a blatant cash grab, no more no less.
