Я отлично помню свой первый просмотр в 1994-м (второй класс) - в гостях дети чуть старше включили на видаке кассету с тогда еще не четвертым эпизодом и уставились с интересом на экран. Меня хватило до момента, когда ведроид показывает послание от Леи. Ползающая по комнате черепашка оказалась интереснее 😆 И даже к выходу первого эпизода интерес не проснулся, хотя рекламу на МТV тоже помню, это было большое событие. Организм дорос до шедевров только ко второму эпизоду ))

The original 3 movies were really very impressive. George Lucas and the team he put together had some immense skills in mythology, storytelling, music, and cinematography. And all of the pieces of the puzzle came together so well. The sword duel from Empire Strikes Back still amazes me to this day. Every element of it: the lighting, sound effects, music. Just breathtaking work.

@@dianayz4644 Well, I think in part he did something awesome with an assembled team of great creatives, yes the stories came from him but were also co-written by others, I mean what would SW be without the music? Or the detail into the ships, light sabers and so on. He was the captain and had last say on everything so yes on the genius. Not dumb for selling as he had every right to but must have understood that it could go in a different direction that he would not control and it has by mostly people that see a cash grab other than respecting the work that started it all and has been loved by so many. So YES on the genius no the dumb but he could've sold it with the addendum to not add to the Skywalker saga.

But the last 3 that involve the skywalkers have changed the flow of the original six, they were perfect from Episode 1 - 6, the new ones haven't fit right and dimished the sacrifice of both Luke and Anakin to kill palpatine then he's brought back as pure fan service to re gain the fans.

I saw the Colorado Springs, CO Philharmonic play this song and I was amazed at how fast everyone had to move to play the Imperial Death March! It was stunning to witness from a balcony seat! You could really see that it wasn't a select few that had to move really fast, it was everyone!

Excepting iconic look and memorable sound of breath, he was Anakin before that, and this transformation from a promising Jedi to Vader is quite a story itself. And what is more - he ended up being on a good side. So it is not only about cool look and those powerful sith abilities - it is a complex interesting character. Not a piece of cardboard. It reaches really to a wide audience, I think
