I almost have platinum trophy. I only bought it because it was on sale for like 7 bucks never really cared for it , but now I play it almost every day and it's one of the best multiplayer experience I've had !
I didn’t mind paying for it cause they actually added a lot of new things so I was like whatever about that , I wouldn’t mind paying again if they actually added good content I’m tired of the same weapons and GA maps

@@omarcomming722 bf2 being released the way it was is totally on EA. not DICE. after the major backlash and world governments getting involved they had to step back and let DICE make them a GOOD GAME first. THAT is what they were paid to do.

I still miss the special effects of 2015, Battlefront 2's effects just seem so muted, lasers aren't at all as bright as they should be and explosions have been downgraded to Call Of Duty Frag Grenade effect #66, especially when ships crash/explode, 2015 was a true spectacle when star destroyers exploded, 2017 just doesn't have the same impact
I really miss walker assault , that was for me the best game mode in all of the games . It had everything . The gun selection was also superior for me but battlefront 2 heroes are amazing .

This is why I don’t like battlefront 2 as much, there’s literally no excuse for them not to post over the dlc, weapons and maps from 2015 as filler in between major releases.
There is a major reason that they can't port over from BF1 to BF2. While it's the same engine, it has been updated many times since the first game and would take about the same amount of time to port over the old content to the new game. The game had many great things but the devs want to move on and produce new things, not remaster their old work.
I actually liked the Heros vs Villains in the 2015 version more because not everyone was a hero, some were troopers, while in the new one everyone is a hero on the team and it just makes everything into a spam fest:/ also the customization was better in the last game too.
Nah I never liked that.If I’m playing heroes vs villains I want to play as a hero or a villain every time.If want a more balanced experience I go play GA or supremacy.

thats what i was hoping for for bf3 if they ever make it but it seems they wont. the perfect combination between the old games from 2004-5 and the new ones.
The originals already had the blueprint for the perfect game. EA decided to ignore them and make objectively worse games. I don't think that even if you combine them that would be enough to surpass the originals, that's how bad they are.
Not necessary for the next battlefront game, but I think it would be cool if they added character customization so we can make our own Storm trooper , custom heros , aliens etc.. and lots of gear for them with color options on them like GhostRecon Breakpoint 🔥
EA’s Battlefront 1 just felt more like Star Wars. They nailed the vibe of the original trilogy. The second one is just a star wars themed shooter, but the magic is not there.

It’s a slick back screen with a hero/Trooper on screen related to the update you can do Co-Op Missions, Multiplier with fun main games and mini games to play, and arcade mode so you don’t have to go through that annoying soul collector game just to play as your favorite heroes offline, you can see your collection of heroes and troops to customize and finally career so you can see your challenge for today
I love the ability in BF2015 to customize my trooper in a ton of ways, sadly in BF2, A rebel assault trooper has 4 different heads, heads!! Not even outfits!!!! BF2015 was better in many ways!

I’m so confused as to how customization wins in battlefront 2 when you can’t do anything with stormtroopers and they are mostly plain unless you’re like a death trooper etc

@@daniel2613 I never liked dl-44, I always thought the design and fire rate was awful. I used to play with my lil' DT-29 for close range (typically Hoth) or EE3 for middle-long range (jakku for instance). Bacta + scan pulse + jetpack/scatter gun was my usual deck
Battlefront 2015 played smooth as butter. The best multiplayer experience I ever had. Got streaks in every way possible. Bespin and Scarrif felt like new games. Twilight on Hoth might be the slowest of the maps but damn if it isn’t just beautiful
Extraction died out because DICE never supported it and now buried it in Strike. I'm sure if they supported it like giving it some maps, people would probably play it. It's fun. The only cared about Galactic Assault and now only Capital Supremacy.
I remember coming home from work nearly every day and playing BF 2015, had some great times with that game, especially playing Han/Greedo in HvV. I miss the maps and gamemodes it had to offer. I never really got that same feeling from BF2 and it's only recently that I really wanted to play it more.
If you wanna play BF 2015 on pc just change Location to Europe people over there people still appreciates what a good game is... ;). But honestly, what killed BF 2015 and will also kill BF 2 is the minimum players requirements to be able to play the game modes... sometimes you are 19 waiting and cant start the game because the game needs minimum 20 player to start... Just let people start even if there are only 2 people waiting at some point more people will join...
BF2 has devolved into nothing but a toxic hero dueling game. Nearly every video related to it is about heroes and villains. It’s the antithesis of what Battlefront historically is. The first remake does a better job in honoring the emphasis on trooper gameplay, which was always the main focus of the series.

Both of the reboots are just bad battlefront games, there’s a reason why EA had to call them reboots instead of battlefront 3 and 4.

@@therealmadmaz Yeah but downloadable content suggests the choice whether or not to actually download it. Updates are content given automatically without choice. The choice given in DLCs is why most come at a cost. EA saying that these updates are packs of free downloadable content makes it appear that they are being generous by giving away free DLCs (even though they are just standard updates). The joke is that EA would never do something for nothing; they are known as the number 1 company for making people pay for every little DLC, big or small.
But the real question is: which one was more fun? And the answer to that is BF1 Don't get me wrong, BF2 is a fun game, I'm not saying that it's lame. But BF1 is where I spend more of my time. And all this is true...because it rhymes.
Battlefront 2015 will always be my favorite, i played it for two years, i remember just grinding for the shoretrooper skin at level 100 and going on those high kill streaks, it is so nostalgic to me
I bought battlefront 2 in 2017 for about £80 which was the super deluxe edition or something like that it was the first game I payed for with my own money I was 11 I loved the 2015 battlefront and played it nonstop it was my favourite game for about a year and a half and met tons of new people and seriously thought it was the best game ever but when battlefront 2 came out I was massively disappointed there wasn’t a lot of content and it got really boring after a month and I never got any of the preorder and deluxe bonus and I felt massively ripped off and ended not using and picking it back up whenever a new hero of map was added and played for about 10 minutes and then just went awww why did I spend £ 80 on this And recently I’ve seen that battlefront 2 has really picked up steam and has started looking like a solid game that I would gladly spend money on and I’m going to buy the celebration edition with some of my Christmas money
you really dont have to buy all those special edetions of games. You pay like 40$ more just for a couple of skins and cosmetic items. Instead yo ushould spend that money on a new game or something. They need to add more customizable features for the storm troopers and first order! Like they could add the scarif stormtrooper design. So much potential for battlefront 2 to become the greatest Star Wars game but they are holding back for some reason. For me Battlefront 2015 wins, I just played that game so much and everything was fun. It just feels like Star Wars and Battlefront 2 feels more like a shooting game like Battlefield, etc. Also the DLC content was amazing, too bad it died in Australia but even now there is people still playing the modes around the world

I always enjoyed Battlefront 2015’s style and gameplay variety, given how much variety their was in weapons. Not to mention in my opinion that Walker Assault is superior to Galactic Assaults Walker maps. Only downside to 2015’s was that it was Original trilogy only. With 2015’s you felt like a 1-man army, but with 2019’s it’s imperative that you are a team player. But as far as hero combat, reinforcements, and vehicles go Battlefront 2 2019 is the superior, as for which one I would happily play continuously it would be Battlefront 2.
I miss modes like the ones in Bf 2015. Hell, even walker assault was amazing for me. Another thing I miss from 2015 is the background events depending on the performance of a particular team. Example: On Walker assault on Hoth in 2015, there were imp. star destroyers floating above the map. As the walkers advanced, you would notice a dogfight would break out among the rebels and empire around the destroyer. If the rebels destroyed a walker very early on in the game, the ion cannon would shoot at the destroyer and could even be destroyed if the 2nd walker was reaching low health quickly. Things like that always amazed me. But don't get me wrong, I still think 2017 is great. I play it probably every other day.
I personally liked SWBF1 better mainly because all attention was able to be focused on one era. I really feel that if SWBF3 focuses on only the prequels, we would get everything the fans have always been asking for from DICE since the launch of SWBF2. We would get Ahsoka, Ventress, Coruscant, Mandalore, Mace Windu and so much more that fans have been begging for. Prioritizing one era would give it the right care and work it needs. I really love SWBF2 now, but if they can take what they learned from these two games with SWBF3, I think we could finally have a game that is free of issues at launch and that would be able to continue for years. I really think EA has learned their lesson lately.

The first EA Battlefront game did excel in capturing the magic, feel, and aesthetic of the original trilogy at least. I feel like the sequel doesn’t really excel in anything.it’s just a star wars themed shooter with no clear vision.
EA and Dice should be nowhere near a battlefront 3. Not only did they butcher what battlefront use to be in order to “not be like battlefield”. They also can’t even make a good battlefield game anymore. The reboots share literally nothing in common with the first battlefronts besides just the name. The reboots literally have no modes from the originals. The reboots don’t have any classes from the originals (bf 2017 classes are not classes like battlefield or the old battlefronts; it’s just a glorified call of duty create a class as there is no medic, anti-vehicle, repair guy, and resupply guy as every “class”in battlefront 2017 is anti-infantry). The reboots have barebones vehicle gameplay unlike the classics (can’t exit vehicle without exploding, vehicles aren’t multi-passenger, some vehicles are even on rails, vehicles can’t be found on the map, and can’t steal enemy’s vehicle). The reboots have garbage map design that is filled with only 2 choke points everywhere; there is no iconic map like bespin platforms, kashyyyk docks, or rhen var harbor. The reboots even have less players in a match online compared to the classics (reboots only have 40 players while classics could have 64). The reboots are highly curated, linear, individual focused arcade shooters that put a big focus on heroes. The classics are sandbox, nonlinear, team-play focused arcade shooters that focus on the infantry. EA and Dice regress the battlefront franchise.
I'm watching this video in almost 2024, and when you mentioned the "shadow trooper" you brought me soo many memories, because when I played bf 2015 i was little and I grinded this skin with my dad, and you just almost made me cry ngl
In my opinion, I didn't like battlefront 2 as much and I went back to bettlefront 2015 soon after getting battlefront 2. I just find this friwst first game more enjoyable
honestly, as good as bf2 is, i’ve found its gameplay really repetitive recently, mostly due to the restrictive nature of the class system. i’ve been playing battlefront 2015 for the past few weeks, and i’ve been enjoying it so much more. the custom load outs, weapon variety, arguably better graphics and map designs. walker assault is the peak star wars game mode, and i wish the devs would focus more on galactic assault again in the future. capital supremacy is cool the first few times, but there’s no variety.
Hell no, dice and EA need to be kept away from the franchise. They already butchered it enough with these shitty reboots. Wouldn’t even imagine what current dice would do considering the quality of games they make now (bf 2042).

Why? I mean yes the amount of content is far greater, but the quality of the content is far worse. The only gameplay aspect that was approved was hero and straighter gameplay. Trooper combat is the most important in a FPS. BF2 trooper combat sucks so much that I only play HvsV nowadays and many with me.
Battlefront 2015 destroys battlefront 2 far more guns, better trooper customization, better maps and better heroes. You go and play as bb8 I’ll stay in 2015 and play as greedo
@@nielsvanheteren you're missing out then. But trooper combat is way better in the sequel. Do you remember needing to run out of your way on the battlefield to pick up your star cards? How about the fact that people would camp at hero spawns. Reinforcements are a way better system in BF2. And on top of that you have things like spawning on your team etc.

What I missed in Battlefront II were the amazing feats you could do in the first game... like take out an aircraft with Vader’s lightsaber throw, or take out an entire hallway of troopers with Luke’s Rush... they weren’t moves that were likely successful, but when they were... it definitely made the entire night. Also I hated Battlefront II’s capital supremacy and preferred the 2015 version, I had no sense of a Front, therefore no sense of team concept except for the squad tactics they encouraged... it was just chaos. In 2015, everyone is focused on capturing one point at a time, making the 20 vs. 20 that much more intense, whereas in 2017, everyone scattered to different points making the game feel more like a marathon, and less like a “front”. Cross era heroes made the game feel less authentic too. The heroes in 2015 would emerge when needed most, and would turn the tide of battle, making it that much more exciting. The heroes in 2017 were just a special form of trooper with special abilities. I think 2015 was so much better in design and construct... it was thoughtful and made with a lot of love... 2017 was a money scheme, and everything done after that was an apology... to a point.
I'm kinda surprised you didn't bring up weapons tbh that's one of the reasons I'm getting bored with battle front two there is to few weapons for each class and I also think that the starting weapons should be able to earn attachments
For customization, I always loved the vibe and loved the rank system to unlock a skin. The customization might look better in battlefront 2, but the way it was portrayed goes to bf1 in my opinion.
I'm kinda routing for both games because I like them both BUT BF 2 kills BF 1 when it comes to maps. Especially in Co-op. Get all the bois together and play as heavys and just shred through clankas, best feeling ever just 4 people standing side by side with shields up and all using LMGs, just shredding through Droids- feelin like a tank.
I've realized one of the reasons I really loved battlefront 2015 was the paid DLC structure. Yeah it was expensive, but I used to get so hyped for when the DLC dropped because it livened the game up so much. New heroes, a new game mode, new weapons, new star cards, new maps etc. I just never got tired of playing battlefront 2015 unlike BF2 that gets stale at times.
If you put everything from battlefront 2015 into battlefront 2, then removed choke points in current maps and found a way to bring back all the dead battlefront 2 game modes this would be the perfect game
Stivan Fitness For me I don’t agree to this even a little. The gameplay in bf2 is I think way better because the movement is smooth and duelling as heroes is way more fun because it takes skill to win 1v1s, also you can dash in any direction
I agree the TTK in the second one is ridiculous. U can't even kill two enemies without having ur gun overheat, and it doesin't help that the recoil is worse as well..
One thing I miss from Battlefront 1 is variety. In Battlefront 1 if you don’t already know. You can choose a variety of trooper skins, some aren’t in the game. You weren’t restricted to classes either, it mostly gave it that edge when it came to troopers. I miss the free selection of skins, abilities, and weapons. But I do think Battlefront 2 is a better game.
When it comes to graphics, I don't really care, so let's take away a point from battlefront 2. Also the customization was better in Battlefront 1. I was able to play my favorite alien most times when I wasn't an imperial, and when I was an imperial I was able to play the shadow trooper. Also, there were so many guns I enjoyed playing with in Battlefront 1. Unfortunately, I can't play my favorite gun anymore in the second game. To me what battlefront 2 did better was the heros, and ship battles. I play battlefront 1 for Ground warfare, and battlefront 2 for hero mode, and space battles. I stopped playing battlefront 2 beacuse like i said hero mode was it's best thing, and people were spinning in circles and farming exp. It ruined the whole game for me. I recently downloaded the game again to give it another chance, and it's a lot mor fun then it's launch. I'm happy to say that I been playing it everyday now.
I would like to add on that I have been playing lot of ewok hunt game mode on BF2 and it always seemed very active to me as I never had to wait too long to find somebody to play with.
some things I think battlefront 2015 did better than battlefront 2 are: -better effects (blasters, explosions, cinematics) -wider selection of blasters -better flying controls (imo)
